Albany cop charged with DWI

hell they knew he was a disgrace when they hired him..

I'm sure, there is more to the story then they are telling us.

What night does he work the DWI check points.Lets see what happens to him or will we never hear another thing about it.Is Albany PD held to a lower standard probably@!!!!!!!!!

word is he blew .21 or so. was reported by multi drivers of a drunk on 787 passed out in road way. when woke up by PD he took off they apprended him in PC parking lot he refused breath test was arrested .

But lets see what the DA and judge do with him to protect the public before he kills someone with his drunk driving.

I think the cities should consolidate the police Depts, Like Clifton Park . They Use State Police. The taxpayers don,t need all the drunks that are employed albany ,Troy, menands wvliet, SCH cohoes,colonie.State police have a higher standard if the cities get rid of all these depts and make it one ,it will save the tax payers plenty

Driscoll really???? You need to open your eyes!! The State Police are no better than any other cop with a badge! They all (troopers included) drink and drive and have the cop mentality just like all other cops that they are also untouchable just because they have a badge! The only difference is that the troopers that do drink and drive just have not been caught yet. But in due time they will!

We do not need all these police Depts.Maybe in time but for the past 4-5 yrs it has been local police Depts.The taxpayers can,t continue to pay there pumped up overtime saleries,benifits,something has to give ,Consolidate depts,not only police, but teachers,schools,like the rest of us are doing in the private sector

You watch, this assh*le will get off with a slap on the wrist. He'll be suspended without pay for a little while, then he'll go back to lecturing kids who he pulls over on the evils of drinking and driving.

Most cops are power-hungry, self-important, gung-ho hypocrites who think that the laws don't apply to them.

I love how all this guy's law-enforcement buddies and other cops flame our posts with negative ratings.

It must be frustrating as hell for cops to read this stuff and know that they can't do anything about someone posting something negative about about one of their assh*le buddies.

These cops are such arrogant pr*cks...I love it!

cops or any other employer always have a few bad apples. the general public expects law enforcment to have higher standards as they should.
I know this guy, he is actually an easy going nice guy, but he has a bad drinking problem and has been that way for years. everyone who knows him knows this. alb pd hired him knowing it.
my personal opion is he should loose his job and suffer the consiquences anyone of us should suffer. thank god he didnt kill anyone.
and maybe a couple of his so called drinkin buddies should look real hard at this and stop thier drinking and driving to.

So, what will happen is that this guy? Oh, he'll be just fine...in fact, I predict that he'll be back on the force within 90 days. He'll still have a drink-problem, of course, which is OK...because he carries a gun.
