I look at her piture and to me she just dont look that stupid to leave her children home alone so there has to be something else wrong with her.I'm very sorry and sad for those two young children to have lost their life at such a young age and in such a horrible way but I have to believe there in better place.

Finally. What was the mom thinking by leaving her children in that house alone. I really shouldn't even call her a mom. As a mom I would never do anything like that. She deserves whatever she gets and more. Kids should not be allowed to have kids. Too many young girls think its ok to lay down with these guys and end up getting pregnant but are not ready for the responsibility. Birth control. It should be mandatory for teenagers and young people. And wheres the dad. Most of the time moms always get stuck caring for the children alone and dads just get to live life as normal like they have no responsibility but also young women should know who they are laying down with before they do it because it is too many kids without both there parents as it is and that is so needed this day and age. If everyone only at least attempted to follow all of GOD's commandments the world would be a better place. I pray for the rest of the family who won't get to enjoy those two children. They never has a chance to fulfill there purpose in this world....

I volunteer to be on the jury for this one. Now lets get the Aunt for knowing about the kids being there alone and not doing anything about it. Accessory to the fact...or something like that. I know there has to be a felony out there with her name on it. There is noway I would go shopping with someone if I knew their kids that age were being left alone. Anyone and everyone that knew she was doing this should go down.

Lord Bless this young mother Soul,I wonder how would she feel if the correctional guards left her to die in the hands of the most dangerous inmates behind bars without saving her.

It hurts my heart that two more children have lost their lives because of a careless parent. I hope that she gets exactly what she deserves. I just want to oppose this question to the parent what was you thinking when you left those children home alone. As for the aunt, she needs to be in jail right beside the mother, because she is an accessory to the fact. She knew that those kids were home alone and she did not do anything about it.

I don't understand how they let her be free even this long. What was there to think about. She should have been in jail. The aunt too.

Yeah. That's not fair. Your case is rare though. Its not many men like you out there that even try to step up and be a father to there children. The laws maybe should be adjusted some for those situations. I am not saying all mothers are perfect. I have a sister that just left her baby with our mother to take care of while she is out living the life she wants to live while now grandparents have to be parents all over again and the dad is not wanting to step up either. So it can go either way. God Bless you.

It's past time that Mamma got herself behind bars. I am surprised that she had the decency to turn herself in but I have to say that outright shame should have had her do so two weeks ago. Let's see if she has the same sense of shame when she enters a plea, After all, She won't be needing to give a dude a ride or worry about some food stamps. By the way, Where da Baby Daddy Be? He's out jacking cars and robbing folks that work for a living. Now we can pay a public defender to stand up for his heifer.....

She deserves everything she gets! And the aunt should be charged just as well. I hope they get locked up and the key thrown away. Those poor babies died for nothing. Cause she was stupid and had to go shopping.

I'm very, very grateful that this mother has been indicted, but I'm also annoyed.
She murdered her two children by being a neglectful parent, yet she has been walking around free for almost a month waiting on our judicial system to respond.
She's in jail now with a $250,000 bond. Why was bond even offered? I'd think for double murder this would qualify as a NO bond situation.
If anyone is able to pay the 10% that is required (by most bail bondsmen) she will be walking around free again!
The owner of the pit bulls who mauled a neighbor received a $500,000 bond. I'm glad that he was arrested too. I just don't understand how being an irresponsible pet owner justified a half million dollar bond while a murderer was assigned a quarter million dollar bond.
If convicted, she's facing 58 years in prison, how about a life sentence or death. Her children suffered that consequence, why shouldn't she?
I'm not a fan of jury duty, but this is one time I'd volunteer!

These are non-parolable charges. If found guilty, she will have to serve out the whole sentence and chances are she will die in prison. My only regret is we, as taxpayers, will have to foot her food, health, etc bill.

Wishful thinking on your part. Dunn has probably just fufilled the "Time Served" she will more than likely be sentenced to. You haven't taken into account that the official sport of Memphis is plea bargaining.....

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Leo

Perhaps it's the fact that it's Christmas Eve and everyone is busy, but you can't help feeling that you're walking on eggshells around certain people. Their emotions are very close to the surface and could erupt at a moment's notice, perhaps in a storm of tears or a fit of pique. Calm them down and ask if you can do anything to help.
