Jeb Bertelson

Rumor has it (this is Meeker after all!) that he is saying it was an accident. This isn't going to go over well for him, since he made up this outlandish story about the "tragic accident", and the events that followed afterwards. He is inconsistent in his story, and this only makes him appear more guilty. It will be interesting to know what does happen. I'm not able to make it Meeker this Friday, but if anyone hears what does happen, please let me (all of us) know...if you don't mind. Thank you.

I haven't heard a word about what happened to Neil in court. I know he isn't in jail yet though, because he has been on facebook. If anyone knows anything , please let us know on here.

I find it funny u talk so much crap and are still his facebook friend. Get a life and let god decide whats best for Neil . And I'm sure it was not his intention to murder his friend or enemy as u have put it.

tomarrow is the big day for neil lets just hope he pleads guilty so everyone can start to move forward. If anybody hears the outcome please post

Ya know what?? I think that it'd suit God a whole lot more by spending your time praying for Jeb family to grieve their loved one because its already known that whatever happens in court isn't going to bring Jeb back. or maybe you could pray for Neil's family, for his wife and his child, or his parents perhaps? Stop worrying about catching up on the gossip. You wanna know what happens go to the court dates, call Jeb's family, do something else besides blog about something you obviously know nothing about otherwise you'd have a better source of information besides this website. Thanks!

fyi I do keep in touch with his family, but since I do not live in Meeker or the surrounding area I do miss some alot of information! We know that whatever happens in court will not bring Jeb back but I'm sure everybody that knew Jeb and knows his family hopes that neil is punished for what he has done. As for praying for neil??? NO way in hell will he ever be in any prayer of mine! It is unfortunate that he has put his family in this mess.
I dont want this to sound like I am bashing you but as you know there is always going to be bad feelings toward neil for what happened that night and never knowing the whole truth is unfortunatly something everybody will have to live with.

My prayers are constantly with Jeb's wonderful family and all who loved him. I am unable to go to the court dates because I am dying from cancer and am in treatments. Do NOT even insinuate that I am should feel any sympathy for Neil Joy. I cannot, but I do pray for his family. It isn't Neil's wife or his child's fault that he is an absolute moronic idiot for being the way that he is or for doing what he did that day. Only Neil and God know the truth, and God is the one that Neil will have to contend with. All I do know is that Neil Joy is responsible for the death of Jeb. He is solely responsible for taking away a wonderful young man that touched the lives of everyone who really knew him. Neil will have to live with himself for as long as he remains on this earth. If you do not like our discussions on this site, then do not respond. You don't have to read them, and we do have the privilege of communicating in this arena in any manner we feel.

Thanks everyone for the concern of our family Jeb is missed dearly and we are very thankful that the court hearing has passed and is finally over. Just keeping the memory of our precious Jebby in reach of his niece and nephew <3 thanks everyone

I never heard a word on the outcome of the trial. Could anyone please shed some light on what happened? All of Jeb's friends in Grand Junction will never forget what a wonderful human being he was. Thank you and God Bless you all.
