Before the layoffs of any city personnel there should be a wage reduction of all the administration staff. This would set a real desire to save budjet cost reduction without seeming like they are blackmailing the police union into a wage reduction while maintaining their own salarys.Public safety is more important than any administration cost.

How about Larry Miller being prosecuted for sexual battery. He sounds as though he isn't needed anymore. The case has been in the county court for many months. Take all of the cops and peal off enough money to keep all of them. Even when the cops don't answer 911 calls we the people still need police service. Less for the people is not the answer, less for the cops as a whole is the only good solution to the budget problem. If we want a balance budget why did mclin get in office from the get go!

What about the one who was selling stolen cars? Did they fire him yet?
That case is still being heard. I want to know about the one who shot the top of his wifes head off and then was allowed to quit and take his retirement pay and leave.

The Administrators have singled out the Police department because they create the most controversy.Any such layoffs should be on a percentage basis for ALL city employees from top to bottom.Every department in the city.

Hello Sam:
You make some good points of interest. The City Manager makes 140K plus and he hired the guy who shot a Clark State police officer. He did 13 years in prison and then the city manager hired him as an administrative assistant. Only god knows why. I say cut the city managers salary in half or more and this will save one or two cops jobs. I can name off several crooked cops in Dayton that need the old pink slip. Voting in Dayton is worse then in Iran. Nobody I know voted for mclin including all blacks that I polled. The democratic party and lieberman with his wife on the county commission all need the ax!

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Aquarius

Be careful now, because you could easily give someone the wrong impression and not even know that you're doing it. This is most likely to happen if you're trying to pussy-foot around them or avoid offending them, because that's when things could get lost in translation. You also have a tendency to sit on the fence now, which could make you seem slightly untrustworthy or shifty if you aren't careful.
