South Heart looked almost like an island, the fields and rivers surrounding the town were flooded. Water came up within inches of the main road into town at one point and eventually closed off at least one of the smaller roads. I live on a hill in town and since I chipped away the five inches of ice a few days ago, water has been rushing down my sidewalk nonstop. I hear we are supposed to have a thunderstorm and two feet of snow over the next few days, this will be interesting.
