Jehovah's Witnesses gathering today downtown

People who bash Jehovah's Witnesses are just scared to face to the Truth. They know they have to change their ways to be acceptable to God, and they don't want to do it. They think God loves everyone even if they do bad things, and why not believe that, their Christian ministers and evangelists have been telling them for years, that all you have to do is believe in Jesus, and you are saved. They only believe what they want to believe, just like the Jews in Jesus day.

Right. Yet another JW gathering, after, let's see, nearly 130 years now. All have said the same thing: gloom and doom. In fact some of the biggest lies and false prophesies were circulated at these gatherings. Such as "Millions Now Living Will Never Die." Guess what? They're virtually all dead.

Yeah, really appealing to find the same stale people giving the same gloom and doom talk about the end always being right around the corner. I'm wondering what the heck corner is it?

Bussiensses only care because the attendence increases their revenues. Beyond that, it's not even as exciting as a shoe-salesman convention.

The Bible says the days before the end of the world, will be filled with war, pestilence, which is disease, earthquakes, famine, hatred among religions. Matthew 24:14 You haven't seen anything yet, wait until the flu pandemic starts. If you think this is Jehovah's Witnesses idea to go door to door to preach repentance, or write letters to people they don't know, or telephone witness, you are crazy. This is God's will to be done today, just so happens some people believe what the Bible tells us to do.

You can take any time in history and find those "signs" to fit. Even more so than today. And JWs, during their relatively brief time in existance have been finding those signs to be imminent virtually ever year.

The bible says "no man knows the day or the hour," but the JWs constantly step ahead and add to what the bible says to try to pressure to get converts.

try reading the context of scripture it may help you understand the meaning more and if you read the Bible alone you would be more at peace in what is going to happen

Jehovah's Witnesses who commit crimes, do get punished. Don't Baptists, and Catholics or Pentecostals? I sure hope they do, why do you make such a big fuss about individual Jehovah's Witnesses. They don't claim to belong to a sinless organization, they just claim it's a righteous organization, because the wicked are removed. Deliberate sin is a serious offense against God, and requires His forgiveness. Hebrews 10:26

I have a question. Why did the wt org join the U.N. for nine years when at the same time condeming them. Thats rather odd. UUMMM

If you knew anything about Jehovah's Witnesses, or even about true Christianity of the Bible, you
would know, that to preach, is one thing, and teach is another. We don't force the Bible's warning message on people, or force them to talk to us, we are only doing what Jesus said would be done before the end of this world. "The Good news of the Kingdome will be preached throughout the world, then the end will come." Matt. 24:14
It's good news, to know this wicked world, with it's violence and immorality will be stopped very soon, and God's Kingdom with Jesus as King, will rule over this earth in righteousness. NO more wars, crime, sickness, pollution, drug wars, hatred. You on the other hand, may like this world just like it is, so be it. You should be happy there is no hell fire waiting for those who reject God's Kingdom, and refuse to accept Jesus as King in heaven.

mathew 24 is truly interesting chapter but not for those who pretend there will be no armageddon. For them it will fly in the face of their skepticism.

Jehovah God, the true God in heaven, has always had a people on this earth to represent Him. And he required them to have conventions during the year. Back then, they were called Festivals, but the people congregated together to be taught new things from God's word, and were encouraged to continue obedient to the Law. Too bad, they didn't obey it, or any of the prophets who directed them to repent, they even killed the prophets, even God's son. They liked to serve God their way, and didn't want anyone to tell them they were wrong. Just like today, people go to Church, they pray, they do good and charitable things for others, but they don't worship the God of the Bible, like He wants them to do it. That is not Jehovah's fault, Religious ministers, and evangelists and priests today are false, and has been teaching lies, since day one, they are not God's people. Matthew 7:15-23

Tell me just how the fact that there is now an extremely dangerous OVERPOPULATION PROBLEM jibes with the claim that a great many massive killers of mankind operating to kill off massive numbers of people. Don't you JWs understand that the massive killing claimed for earthquakes, pestilence, famine and war would HAVE to result in a massive decrease in world population? And the fact that we observe the opposite proves that such massive killers simply do not exist in the way that the Watchtower claims?
