What ever happened to our local Celebrity Stud? I heard in the Village House he runs a sports booking opp. like the one in Batavia that we heard about with the firemen. Anyone know if this is true?

Gotta admit there certainly were a lot fewer empty storefronts downtown when Mikey was the Man. Never realized how much ugliness the Verizon sign concealed until that place too became vacant. Full-sized mirrors need to be put up in all these places so that at least people have something interesting to look at.

Paper Boy the Federal government is ripping us off every day dumb ass and that does effect us all. Wake up and stop being distracted from the little things it's time we focus on the REAL problems!!!!!!
It case you didn't know here is a HUGE problem see if you can help with this one here it is: The Federal Reserve is not part of the Government and is make up 12 private owned banks which control are money that is being printed and loan the Government money and collect interest(our taxes), oh there's more since it was started in 1913 no one and I mean no one has been allowed to do a audit of the Federal Reserve. Do you think this is a bigger problem? Just amazing how we allow ourselves to be blinded by things that mean nothing.
Also one more thing if you want to hear of another big problem. Illegal immigrants!!!!

What I would like to know about downtown Albion is where all the grant Money Miss Starkweather - the grant queen got for all the of owners of Downtown Albion buildings to "spiff" up thier businesses went to? Thousands and thousands of grant money granted available, yet downtown still looks the same as it always has. Lots of money delved out, no improvements made... perhaps real easy these days to hire a street bum to paint your store front with a few cans of cheap paint from Ace, and pocket the rest of the grant money for a nice trip to the Florida Keys....... hmmmmmm

Why on Gods earth is there all this grant money? Welfare for the connected. I would like to see everyone's hands chopped off who takes it. Your welfare kings and Queens, that all you are. Criminals with a license to steal. Your worse than any vile ,scum thief, bum, loser who sits on their ass all day doing crack and sucking off the system. You don't have the guts to raise taxes or risk your own money so you go after the hard working tax payers money to fund your insane fantasies. You make me sick. You should be put in a wood chipper. Some monies apparently went to stick "Welcome to the Village of Albion" signs along the towpath of the canal. The one is by the Ingersoll St. lift bridge. Kinda odd that the village limits extend to Butts Road. The message seems to say "Welcome Only to Downtown Albion (where we can't live beyond the past)".

The whole lot is a bunch of talkers. Pipe dreams of restoring old opera houses while the rest of the intact structures flush down the toilet. There's more to Albion's history (and future) than the downtown. There is an ignorant refusal to fix the real problems in this community; the people. This community will suffer until the generation in control has retired, moved on, or gone for their dirt nap.

substitute 'Medina' for 'Albion' in that post and every else is the same.
