What do you do at a strange woman's house when you are engaged to be married. Bad choices led to this tragedy.

Bad choices may have led to this tragedy, but what if he wasn't engaged...what if it were your little brother who may have thought he was in love...it wasn't the first time he met her, he'd seen her around town and assumed she was just an ordinary woman, who would think that a woman you've known for a few weeks would rob and kill you over $400?

in oklahoma, if you are anyway involved in a felony being committed, you are guilty of that crime also...even though the others weren't involved in pulling the trigger, they will be charged (even though they won't problably get the death penalty)

I knew Robert Hayes (BOBCAT) personally and he was the greatest man. He was a man that if you met him once you would never forget him. It doesnt matter that he was at another females house that does not change the fact at all that he was murderd in COLD BLOOD. He was a great man and now he has been taken away from all that knew him and loved him. I know that I will never forget him and I think about him everyday.

I think all of them should be charged with the same offense. This was a vicious act of overwhelming violence. No mercy.

I think that it is an absolute tragedy that these 3 people are only being charged with what they are. Robert Hayes JR (or what his friends called him BOBCAT, Bobby, or just Cat) he was a hero and friend to all that knew him. He would have given these people anything to save his life and they took it any way. This murder was pre-meditated they planned it all 4 of these people sat and planned out what they were going to do to Bobcat and they did not care about a life of a good man. These are not good people not one of them could sit there and say that they are good people. They all killed a man A GOOD MAN. Someone that could do something like that can not say that they are a good person. They do not deserve any leniency. These people that killed Bobcat were nothing but COLD BLOODED MURDERERS (THUGS). Now Shamika Wilson the female that started all of this is only being charged with Robbery she is a MURDERER. She might not have pulled the trigger, but she is as guilty as the one that did. I never believed in the Death Penalty until my friend Bobcat was brutally murdered for no reason. The people that took him to the ATM machine must be so ignorant to not even know that you are only able to take out a certain amount of money within a 24hour period. What were they trying to prove? Plus Derrick Koonce was out on bail from a 2nd degree robbery a case that was filed 11/17/2005. I truly hope that this MURDERER gets the Death Penalty. He is a habitual criminal and a cold blooded MURDERER. He murdered in cold blood and probably bragged about it. I also hope that Shamika gets the Death Penalty because she deserves it, she set this whole thing up and it is all her fault that Bobcat is dead today, she was the ring leader. If she unfortunately does not receive the Death Penalty I hope that she never sees another day out in the free world. KARMA BABY.

Yeah you are right that he probably shouldn't have been at this woman's house but there is absolutely NO justification for what these people did to him. This was a cold, calculated murder. From what my husband told me about Hayes, he trusted very easily and this woman took advantage of that. People should stop focusing on the fact that he was somewhere he shouldn't have been and place blame where it belongs, on these four individuals. I hope justice is served and these people get what is coming to them. But obviously our justice system doesn't work well enough or this felon wouldn't have been out on bail in the first place. I cannot believe the woman that masterminded this whole plot is only being charged with robbery, I can't get over this. I hope in the face of all of the negativity, people will stay focused on the fact that Hayes was a great person and endeared by all who knew him and what happened to him was NOT his fault. RIP Hayes.

I would like to know why it is the girl (Shamika Wilson) that set this whole thing up has a chance to bail out. Her bail is set at $75, ooo. That is all the bail that they ask for when she is as much as a murderer as Derrick Koonce is. Then the girl (Anika Getter) who was charged accessory after the fact had a $50,000 bail. How could Shamika’s bail only be $25,000 more? Shamika is no less of a cold blooded murderer than Derrick Koonce. I just do not understand the legal system. I guess you are able to set everything up and sit back and watch a good man murdered when you knew what Derrick was capable you are able to still get out and see the light of day. I do not think that is fair.

It is a terrible tragedy. However, as a former classmate of Roberts while at Ft Sill, I know he and another of his friends who happened to be married at the time would sleep around with various Lawton women on the weekends, its truly a tragedy and im not pointing any fingers, but when you get mixed up in intimate relationships with strangers, anything can happen.

I'm just shocked that the Lawton Police actually found these people. When I grew up there they couldn't find their ass with both hands and a road map......oh...unless somebody would actually walk into the police station and confess and had their ass with them as evidence and even then they needed a half a dozen independent witness's with them to verify it was indeed their ass's

Robert Eugene Hayes was my favorite cousin when I heard that he died I couldn't believe it. How can a soon to be husband and a great guy be shot for nothing? How come Shamika had to KILL my cousin? He didn't do anything to her. I understand that Bobby probably shouldn't have never went over her house but he was probably just being nice. I believe that this was all set up. And Shamika,Anika, and Derrick are all COLD BLOOD MURDERERS and i believe they need to be put to death sentence and thats REAL TALK.

All of the talk about Hayes not being at Shamika's house and nobody has yet mentioned that him being there doesn't necessarily mean that he was screwing around with her. Several of my friend's that Lived on post while at Ft. Sill often stayed at friend's houses so that the wouldn't have to greet the guards at the gates with alcohol on their breath after being out at night. DUI on post would get UCMJ and Criminal charges. This was a senseless tragedy committed by a group of thoughtless and uneducated thugs. The sort of things that can happen when kids are brought up without family values. I knew Hayes and he was very friendly and trusting. It is a shame

Just because he was at a womans house does not say he was messing with her. He was like a bro to me and an uncle to my children. he came and visited when he could and called to see how we were doing all the time.these people that did this will have to pay when they get to the gates of heaven or hell! Even though he was at another woman's house doesn't mean he was cheating.... nobody knows that for sure. In fact, I was at Ft. Sill at the time this happened and knew Hayes. There were several times when those of us who lived on post would be out drinking and stay at a friend's house so you wouldn't have to drive on post to your apartment knowing you had to stop at the guard shack and risk being tested for a DUI. Nobody knows for sure and it certainly doesn't justify killing a smart young man in this fashion.
