It's about danged time. I've lost count the number of times mountain lions have actually been seen but W & P refused to confirm them.

I believe there is at least one, maybe two, mountain lions in Johnson County's Shawnee Mission Park. I have seen the results of their hunts and have heard them.

Yes I am a believer. I have seen a Black cat in LaCygne, Ks. My neighbors have also seen Black cats in the same area. The Water department in Western Johnson County,has been laying piper around 91st & Clair and reported seeing 4 Cats, 1 by it's self and
a 3 together a Mom and Kits. These sightings were in 03 during the build out in the area. 1 of my hunting friends saw 1 during the 04 Deer season while on stand during the early evening. He said it walked down a tree row about 200 yrds off, and just walked
away. I do believe they live in seclusion all around us.

Sounds like a cougar. Aren't mountain lions more of a light brown or blond color?(exposing my ignorance of such things)

As Snagglepuss would say...."exit, stage left."

Folks, a puma, cougar, and a mountain lion are one and the same. There have been literally thousands of sightings of both them and bob cats (which have been captured), however, the Wildlife bureaucrats have refused any and all eyewitness accounts. Now they can no longer pretend that they do not exist.

Black cats have been reported all over the place, but there has never been a confirmed case, and all evidence gathered has been proved to be something else. It should be noted that feral cats can grow quite large and size is deceiving on open ranges without reference points.

If the man that was lucky enough to shoot this mountain lion gets fined, let me know and I will help him pay it.

Bourbon county kansas;
my son seen one (2001) at the end of a fence row, and he said it jumped right over a 52 inch high barb wire fence as easy as you stepping over a crack in the sidewalk.
I seen one (2003) while sitting in a tree stand hunting deer. I would have shot it, but I couldn't believe what I was looking at, when I realized it a few seconds after I first witnessed it there was no clear way to get a shot at it.

Hello! Cougars are mountain lions to the people above that seem to think there is a difference.

Daily Horoscope for December 7

Taurus

There are powerful forces at work in a relationship today, and they'll have quite an impact on you. If you're with that special person in your life, don't be surprised if there's a lot of sexual tension between you that manifests as irritation and bad temper. You'll probably have a huge row and then have a very enjoyable time making it up.
