Happy Berlin 20 years later, November 09, 2009!

"Had the wall not been breached, West Germany (capitalist, democratic and rich) and East Germany (communist, fascist, dictatorship and poor) would not have been reunited to become the most stable and successful economy in Europe today."

As long as we wish.
The wall had fallen and the system of Germany is united.
But I can say without regrets that people who live in the name of freedom after the fall of wall is struggling to cope with.

As a german resident I can quote all the sources from all over the world to justify my critical observations.
Ask any one around your corner.

I lived in Berlin 1965 - 1974- American - loved Berlin and German people. I cried for months after leaving because I felt more at home in Berlin than I had anywhere else. I was fortunate to return in 2000 for only 2 days - didn't get to see everything I wanted. I'm writing article about Wall before and after impressions. I was a bit 'put off' by all the construction cranes and tearing down of anything historical. I came across an article and photos of building that the occupying forces had left behind. They were abandoned and full of grafiti with windows broken vandalized. Why did not German government use these buildings for benifit of people? I would appreciate if someone who lives there would tell me what has actually happened both personally and
politically. What did you feel? Thanks to you in advance. I'm sorry to have to use English, but my German is too bad. Just a comment, but what impressed me most about the Berliners was their joie de vivre and attitude of tollerance. forgive spelling.

here are my words of wisdom, to commemorate the fall of communism..

you are young and life is long and there is time to kill today.
and then one day you find ten years have got behind you.
no one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.
one day you may be shorter of breath and one day closer to death.
the time is gone, pesky´s song is over, thought I'd something more to say.

Who wrote this poem? It is brilliant. I'd like to use in my article but want to give credit to writer.

I have no problems in the place i live.
KÖLN near Bonn is as good as any xyz cities.

20 years had elapsed after the fall or berlin wall.

But still i see the people around my community who miss something better than this fall of wall.

I will die in KÖLN because of my residence.

Vladimir, Why do hate me so much? It's not me. They hack into my site and change my words to make it look like I am saying things that I'm not saying and doing things that I am not doing.

You used to wear a solid colored back drop tie with a medium stripe layered next to a thinner but not pin striped stripe underneath the medium stripe.... Always. What happened? Usually a black suite, two inch cuffs, small cuff liinks and no additional decor. Then everything changed. I couldn't recognize you anymore. Especially when your eyes turned brown. They did the same to you. Said things you didn't say. Said you did things you didn't do. But bygones are bygones. Damn. I need a cup of Java.

Why is it that if I casually mention your name I get slaughtered by the media, attacked and accused, ridiculed and humiliated? I don't know why? What did someone say about me? I talk to Dmitry and am treated somewhat decently. Somewhat. I even mention your name or visit your website and suddenly its as if I've flown to Moscow to your home to do private lapdances for you when I've never met you before in my life or it's like I've tried to kill you or mutilate you or bomb Russia. I get annihilated and all I've ever done was justice for Russia. Why does it never end? Who is responsible for these slanderous, libels and harrassments? Is it you, Vladimir? DO you still hate me so much for something someoone else said about me. Don't my actions speak louder than other people's words about me?

There is still Korea to unite, ie. tear down the demilitarised zone fortifications.

Then there is the wall in Palestine that needs tearing down.

There are also "walls within societies" that need tearing down.

From where I stand I can see that this is an on going job.
