If you call "whining" expecting an ambulance to show up in a timely fashion when you call for help then yes it is whining.

Imagine expecting that when you call 911 for help and the ambulance that is supposed to show up shows up and quickly.

I guess that is a lot to expect.

I don't care that they got rid of people. You need to do what you need to do, but please get some more people up there and on the ambulance.

Just want the problem fixed that is all, and sincerly wish them luck.

and no I did not post the first post, I actualy stumbled on it while googleing (sp?) the school. Not a member and never have been but I have heard about stuff up there and I know they had some real idiots up there that they had to get rid of but I just hope they can get back to where they were. I am a FF in town and I will say I am very glad to see a few specific people gone and I am not saying they should have done it different but maybe they need a membership drive or something.

Just how many turned over calls are we talking 1, 5, 10, 50??? Was there other rig out? where was the paid crew?

for 2008 its near 80. several of their calls require numerous dispatch attempts requesting an emt or driver. I think last year they only turned over less than 10. but I suppose when you are running with 14 less crew members it may be a bit difficult to staff an ambulance at night and on the weekend. Guess they should have probably thought about that before they threw out or drove out 14 people in less than a year all for a political motivation to protect the captains job up there so he could keep fleecing the town via the squad in a self locking position working up there even going as far as to staff (for pay) a night that had to be covered by paid staffing because his cronies threw out the entire crew. how convienent that all these people get thrown out and now he works those former volunteer shifts. shouldn't the captain of all people be taking the responsibility to ride that night as a volunteer ? after all if he is free to work the shift shouldn't he be free to volunteer ? now I suppose I will be labled as one of the ones that was thrown out but I am not, in fact I am still a member in good standing. so make all the posts you want the truth hurts in the end, and people are finding out the truth. perhaps your captain should learn about ETHICS AND MORALS, and step up and do the right thing as should the rest of you. remember karma is a bitch, and a mean one at that.

Hey Frog Jumper get a clue fine people don’t turn over 100 calls a year and through out good volunteers who made up that dam squad and o yeah put the tax payers in harms way.... What a joke they are shut them down and through out that scab thieve got in charge. Wonder how there medical director would feel about there actions toward there volunteers there back door politicking and that scab that plays both sides of the fence

I want to clarify what a SCAB is it’s someone who backdoors the union by using them for protection and still has all the benefits of being top dog and gets to play super in charge volley.

Tune in your scanners for the comedy of stupid any given week night and liten for them to get a call. Always a treat to count down the minutes til a real squad gets called out but be careful if you should have the misfortune to be on route 40 when they get called out cause you may get run over by a super dooper whoopideedoo voly whacker mobile with a big goofy light bar (yeah, your cool buddy to cool)

so cute, they are having their bullshit elections soon and all the little Buddies are all running unopposed cause they got rid of everybody that wasn't on their side. they are all shady scumbags that don't follow their own rules and play little games. they thaught they were the laughing stock before, now they are a massive fucking joke. complete morons running a total joke into the ground, for now anyway the law will catch up with them.
