What a crazy story! I am wondering how long the editor spent reading over this post before it went live for the world to see. Come on guys. Was it one deer? Was it multiple deers?
"The actually deer..." Sloppy...nice story, but sloppy. My fifth graders were able to pick out both of these grammatical errors! |

Occasionally it can be used as a plural. The subject-verb agreement of the headline is the more troubling issue to me! |

I am disturbed by the lack of correct grammar in this news story. What happened to editing? There is something called "subject-verb agreement" that is definitely not in effect here. Even the headline is incorrect.

I would suggest putting wrought iron bars in front of the plate glass windows. I have notices more and more wildlife, possums, etc. have been in the city and neighboring neighborhoods because so much land (where their homes were) is being cleared for progress.

I guess TV is not use to people seeing their stuff printed. Can you imagine what the newscasters must go through trying to read this stuff live on the air?
