I think this is a well thought out assessment of our current situation. I believe these are the feelings of many residents of this county. We must voice our disapproval of the Preferred Meals option. The idea of outsourcing, laying off local employees, rearranging the cafeterias, and feeding inadequate lunches to our youngest students is bad enough but when I think that this is MY money paying for this, it makes me sick.

There is one other negative about this plan that was not mentioned. With all of the problems with our food industry and recalls of tainted food, I want someone I can trust to watch over our food supply. I know our cafeteria workers care. Why would we ever consider giving that up?

Amen,Amen,Amen, Robin, nicely written. The only thing I would add is that I also believe is administrators should live in this school district and have their children eat those out of state meals, and be the way the staff should have to eat those meals as well.

I don't think they've thought through the possible contaminations that may occur. The lunch lady's do a wonderful job and care very much about what is being served! I sincerely hope that parents start packing for their children if it comes down to this.

An excellent point Mrs./Miss/Ms. Anderson.(I apologize I do not know your title.) As a student at Carrollton High School, I very much appreciate this letter. Very well thought out and very well stated. I hope the administration gets a hold of this letter. In my opinion, they just got slapped across the face really hard. Congratulations!

Daily Horoscope for December 21

Aquarius

Although you're still feeling sociable and outgoing, the Solstice brings the need for a little time to yourself now and then. It's time to temper your busy social life with some precious moments of solitude. Make sure you do, as this need is something important and life-enhancing. It will certainly recharge your inner batteries, which might be a little run down.
