I guess this is what you can expect when getting drunk is your main form of entertainment. Perhaps the tax of alcohol be raised 10% per year with the proceded going to drunk drivers victims!!

I think that the courts need to rewrite the whole sentencing policy. This is no longer 1950, or when ever the rules were written. Crimes are getting more violent and more cmmon. And these criminals know that they can pactically get away with murder. Someone needs to make exmples of the people who commit these crimes, weither it be a shooting (a little too common in Erie this summer, child molesters (they always get off the hook) or girls that let 2 babies drown in a pond, or college students who hide their pregnancy and kill thier babies, or drunk drivers who are out on their 5th offence and still out on the road. The system needs to CRACK DOWN!! stop giving these people second chances, and third chances, and 4th chances. Make an example, then maybe the next time someone even thinks of committing a crime theyll be like "Wait, i dont want to end up like that one guy/girl." And maybe, just maybe well see a decrease in crime rates, but until we stop letting everyone get away with a month in jail and acouple hundred in fines then expect to see the same things happening.
