So what? She was not a wise woman anyhow! If Letterman was not in repeats he would be having a field day with this! Goodbye quitter!

Hmmm. What's cooking here? Afraid of not being re-elected? Will move and run in another state? Watch for it. Something's up.

Did the article really say "raising speculation that she would focus on a run for the White House in the 2012 race". LOL Now that's funny! Like she would really stand a chance.

Just listened to the resignation speech, twice. First on MSNBC, then Faux News. What a lunatic!!(Not me, her. I'm happy that I shared this historic moment.) 15 minutes of incoherence. Anyone who missed the speech should go over to you-tube to hear the entire screed. Bill Clintons' 1988 Democratic Convention keystone is like the Lincolns' Gettysburg Address compared to Sarahs' speech. The military can put away all the waterboarding equipment. Just play a tape of the Palin resignation a couple of times. The prisoners would beg for the waterboard instead. The ducks quacking in the background provide a very nice touch.

she probably like the rest of us see what a disater the deomocrats are making of our country and thinks the dems are paying to much attention to her instead of doing anything . shes just getting out of the way so the democrats can finallky accmplish somerthing somewhere. you know loss of jobs, record debt, a stock market thats stuck, foreign counterparts laughin ta us doing whatever they want, maybe the dumb obama voters can finally focus on his failures instead of alaskas sarah palin whos state is doing well.

She will be able to raise lots of money from the Democrats who believe this is a drean come true. What she ought to do is pose for Playboy, she can make a ton of dough for her kids and that is about all she has to offer. Give me a break and I'll bet the people of Alaska are glad for this break as well. Who gives a rats a$$.

LMAO, I sometimes think that everyone should have to take a basic intelligence test to post on these forums. Then, we wouldn't have to be subjected to stupid shit like this. Have you been under a rock? The loss of jobs, the sucky stock market, the debt and foreign nations laughing at us all occurred under that idiot Bush. With that said, good riddance wicked witch of Wasilla. I think she finally has had enough of being the national joke now that Bush is gone. Have no fear though, there are plenty of other republicans ready to take her place. I know that Sanford is passing his audition with flying colors.

Sarah and Michelle in 2012. What a dream team, if you're a Nazi How can so many people be so easily misled and so downright stupid to support these wacos? Both of these "ladies" are an embarassment.

Perhaps she was becoming more of a liability for Alaska, and not that strong woman she may have been earlier on. The whole deal with her pregnant daughter and the nonsense with Letterman...seems to me Alaska needs a governor to focus on the state and its citizens - not all this other nonsense. Her resignation only makes her look that much more unreliable.
