The Ghetoo Hoodlums Continue Their Havoc

One robbed a bank today at gunpoint. I just hope he's over 18 so they can throw his/their sorry ass in jail for a long, long time. The death penalty should be brought back for robbery. That would take care of alot in and of itself.

That's over doing it for punishment, but he does deserve to go to jail for a while. We don'tk now if this person is from the ghetto or not though. However one crime did happen on Couch St. where some one did a drive by Thursday night at 2.30am no one was shot or killed

Remember taxpayer, some on here will excuse any behavior with the excuse that the "northside" is providing the money for it (ie: drugs).

Are you serious? Who's comitting these crimes? "Northsiders"? Doubt it. To hell with PC, it's the blacks committing these crimes. This is a problem the afro-american community needs to address, or shut up when they are locked up and the key is thrown away.

I never said anything about who is committing the crimes Get Real, All I said was that the robberies are being committed on the north side. We don't know who's committing the crimes, the police doesn't even have any idea of what the person look like, you can speculate all you want, but know the facts before spouting out. If the person comes out to be black then the person is black, what if the person is white or hispanic. The fact is you don't know who's committing these crimes. Oh and by the way the northside isn't completely white you know. There are people that are not white who live on the northside and are good citizens. So should those minorities be equated with the southside problem also?

There are blacks that commit crimes and whites that commit crimes, some get caught and some don't get caught. The important thing is that they are caught and get punished for the crimes that they commit.What's up with this northside, southside mess? Thank you just wondering, that was my whole point. If we want to grow and attract new residents and businesses, we must not look at this problem as a northside-southside issue. When people read the news and study up on Magnolia, they don't see it a city in parts, they see it as the city as a whole. Magnolia is not like Dallas where people can see the city as parts, only a 32ft wide street separates north and south

According to the Banner News, the police caught the guy that has committed 5 robberies since October. A man from Springhill, so these were homegrown.

Good grief you two, pull your heads out of the sand. I'm sick of all the PC B.S. that goes on. That's where the "northside" and "southside" mess come from. It's more comfortable than saying "blackside" and "whiteside".

Magnolia is no different than any other part of America. Blacks have a crime problem, and it ain't white mans fault.

its a ratio thing. theres way more black thugs unemployed because they want to be than there is white thugs. probly 100 to 1. so they have all this time on there hands to get into mischief. and you show me just one that dont hate the white man and ill show you a 10 headed mule. they are like that because they were raised that way. they were raised that they dont have to have jobs too, and that the gov will support them. yes there are white ppl that are like that too, but not on the same scale that the blacks are. you can call me racist, say im wrong, but im not and all you know it deep down you just wont admit it. blame the schools, blame the town, blame whoever you want. its the parents fault. they have never been employed either and waited on that check and thats all the kids know. dont say they couldnt find jobs cause most of them have never looked for one.
they get free lunches at school, and now a free cell phone. stop all this and make them work to survive, some will get jobs and do it legally and some will steel and sell dope. arrest those and put them away and you break the chain for the others.

Taxpayer I agree with you, to an extent. There are people like that in every race. I will stand strong with you and say, yes it is the parents fault because the ability for blacks to go out and achieve success such as the whites do has greatly improved since the 1960s. In Magnolia everyone goes to the same schools and are on the same playing field. There are some debate that teachers have their picks, not solely; based on race; moreover, based on who their parents know. Not all blacks were raised to hate just like not all whites are raised to hate maybe 10-15% on either side. My parents worked hard, my mom now is disabled, my dad was a military man, I did 2 terms of AmeriCorps and in May will graduate with 3 degrees. But I was fortunate to be raised on the northside. Did it matter that a large part of my family is white??? Probably not, did it matter about my parents.....absolutely. The biggest fear I had was to hear my dad say " I am disappointed in you." So for the part of that it all matters about parenting....I stand firm with you because I have stated that on other posts. I stand with you that most of black America's problems are created by them. But to say that nearly all black parents purposely raise their children to go be thugs, sell drugs and get on government aid, I cannot stand with you on that sir.

razorman, i agree with you 100%, i think you said it better than i did. but to clear up what i meant, i didn't mean all blacks teach their kids to be thugs and dealers, i meant that its my opinion that most all the ones that ARE thugs were raised that way. is it thier fault? yeah kinda, but if they had parents like you did i dont think they would be what they are. sorry for the confusion.

I understand what you are saying. Again, I am totally with you on that. I wish that the black leaders would stop focusing on "oh the white man is trying to keep us down, or its all about racial profiling, etc etc." Placing the blame on someone else. I like what Bill Cosby said is that most of blame is on black America for its problems. If black America used the tools that it has to day that was not there 40-50yrs ago and beyond, there would have been a drop in poverty rates, there would have been a drop in crime rates, there would have been a rise in graduation rates, there would have been a rise in incomes and standards of living and better qualities of life. This would cut down on racial profiling, and other things if blacks done what the Jews, Italians, Polish, Japanese, and now the Chinese immigrants did and use the opportunities that are there to build a foundation to create a successful life in the right way.

if your speaking of sharpton and jackson as black leaders, theres another big problem. these are the two biggest racist i have ever seen. both call them selves revrends, but have no church and never had one as far as i know. remember the old man in homer, la that was shot by a cop? sharpton came down there and stirred up more shit than the pumphouse at the magnolia sewer pond. and if he is such a great guy why did he charge those people over 10 grand to make that 5 min speach? he flies on a 30 million dollar jet, and pays no taxes...oh wait... thats why he calls himself a rev. so he dosent have to pay taxes. well, hes no dummy anyway.
