Looks like he nailed it. what you like the truth?...honestly, who takes the most advantage of the welfare system?...yes white people use it and hispanics but who by percentage uses it more?...stop playing the racism card...calling the guy a racist for saying the color of the woman is racist an wrong...that would be like a victim giving a description to the police and saying he was a black man and you screaming that she is a racist...no she is describing the perpetuator of the crime...racism truly sucks and that includes REVERSE racism

It's not right!! My post will probably tick off someone people but ...as the old saying goes ..the truth never hurt anyone ..just might tick you off a little They just don't know how it is. I live in North Tulsa and when I go to the Warehouse Market on Peoria I see it all the time. People out there getting out their Access card to pay for their food but then they get cash out to pay for their steaks and beer. Then they take it out to their brand new car. I challenge those people who think the others are being racist to go out there for a day and see for themselves. Maybe they will have a different perspective on things.

I absolutely agree with you. I see the same things happening. We as mostly whites work our *** off to support the blacks and their welfare. I am waiting for the day when the whites can claim discrimination laws. Or go crying discrimination, and get anything they want..ha.. that will never happen. We need someone in politics to stop this..

I have three children and we have gone through tough times and had to get help. This does not mean I don't work both me and my husband work full time. I left my first husband because he was violent so that left me being a single mother that I never planned on doing. I then met a wonderful man who takes great care of me and we have two more kids. We work really hard and with the way things have gone over the past year we have had to go get help a couple of times. People get laid off, lose their spouses, get injured, there are lots of reasons for hard times. So not everyone is there just because they don't want to work. But I agree there are people that would rather live off the government instead of working. I am just saying don't lump everyone into the same catergory... i agree...it is the ones that abuse the system that are wrong and there are way to many of them

Let me clarify ...I am by no means saying that black people are the only ones abusing the welfare system ...whites do the same thing .....it's just that more black people are on welfare and lay up and have more babys and get bigger checks ...you can call me racists all you want but facts are facts ...I'm not racists I'm just not blind ...I have eyes ..just look around and you'll see what I'm talking about

You got it right! That's exactly what those relatives of mine do. They intentionally (and they admit it to each other) have as many babies as they want while they can get as much as possible off of the government for free while all my educated friends have to struggle to get ahead with their jobs and financially and some of them are pushing their biological clocks just to be able to afford to have their babies while being responsible and paying for their needs. I HATE paying for my drug dealing, baby popping out relatives and others like them while my own immediate family and other decent, honest, hardworking people have to work their butts off to get by. There needs to be some kind of better policing of these welfare recipients. We should all be sick of how so many of those on welfare are nothing but nasty, lazy, lying, poor excuses for humans!

The fact is: unless Americans stop having 15 or more different charities that do the same thing, people are going to get hand out after hand out. Unless they observe and verify that the people who ask for these hand-outs actually need them, they will be abused.

Wow, talk about some arrogant as well as ignorant people! Before jumping to conclusions about people needing assistance let me tell you this. There are very hard working people out there who fall on hard times, families who have been devastated by unexpected tragedies, illnesses and job loss. Not everyone out there is some bad case of baby mama drama, and so what if some elderly lady driving a Cadillac was getting food assistance? Ever stop to think that maybe she had worked her entire life just like anyone else and is now living on Social Security and has to choose between what gets paid and when? If it was your mother or grandmother would you rather see her driving a dependable car or some old falling apart car that could break down leaving her stranded and in danger? I know a lot of elderly who have spent the better part of their lives working hard to provide for their families, give to society and end up in a free food bank line or getting assistance because what they get in social security after all those years of hard work is pennies in today's economy. Then to the poster who commented about someone's daughter having kids when she couldn't afford them and mandatory sterilization? what kind of shallow ignorant comment was that? There very well may be free loaders out there but I choose to believe that most people would rather earn a buck as opposed to have it handed to them, I believe there are decent people who go through things they never planned on going through or could have foreseen. All I can say is while you sit in judgment of these people I hope that nothing tragic ever happens to you, I sincerely hope you never find yourself at the other end of the food chain in need of assistance because there may be someone sitting behind the desk with the authority to issue that assistance with a pompous attitude just like yours and say suck it up and deal with it.

p.s. and a far as the car issue..there are many cars tht are new and dependable that do not cost 40,000 and up...driving a new caddie and getting assistance is wrong...sell your caddie...buy a dependable car in the 20,000 range and use tht other 20,000 + and pay your bills

Well if she fell on hard times then she should get a more sensible car...not a cadillac. There are plenty of vehicles that people can get that are nice and reliable that don't cost $30,000. That is just my opinion. The only ones that are ignorant are the ones who have never seen it for themselves.

I personally have fallen on hard times several times in my life. But I have pulled myself up so I could go back to work. I still get food stamps, and I get housing assistance, and I am getting heating bill assistance this year. The car I drive was a gift to me from an anonymous person at my church 2 years ago. I am NOT begging for anything from anyone. I have worked my whole life for what I have. And frankly, what I have is a whole lot of nothing!!! But it is mine. My doctor told me today that I will probably never be able to go back to work. I am 59 years old and have COPD, thanks to other people's smoking, among other things like the chemicals I have used much of my life. I am NOT begging for anything. I have nothing and I am happy with it. But yes, there are people out there who would play a condition like mine to the hilt. I have seen it. Our church helps people with food, utilities, and other things. Many times we see the same people come month after month. Now we do as the Salvation Army does--ONCE a year assistance!! Sorry if we have to turn someone away, but you have abused our system once too often. And as for the "racism" about the black lady driving the Cadillac, watch the tv. The TV news shows will show more black people at the welfare office than they will white people!!! They just won't show the whites down at the welfare office!!! And how about the Indians?? They have their own systems and can get whatever they need from their governments, but they choose to use the State DHS instead!! So, just to close, I am white, I don't drive a Cadillac, but I do need help. I have worked and paid in to Social Security, who says I still can work (kind of hard to do when you can't breathe good)!! So much for the federal government giving me back what I paid in!!!

I was commenting on the fact that you can't need food and gifts and utility assistance and drive your $40,000 cadillac to get them with your fur coat because you could easily sell some nice things for more practical things and not need the help then and leave it for someone that does...Trust me I have asked for help before but I ride the bus and pay my bills and only accept help when in dire need!
