His culture says he simply abused an animal like Mike Vick essentially.

Careful with the blanket statements, but you are right on about these extremists. Even Christian extremists give regular lame stream Christians a bad name. Extremists of all stripes cause stereotypes to die hard. Actually it is the extremists of all faiths who muck it up for everyone else. At least muslims accept Christ as a holy man.(It says so in the Quran.) You would be shocked what the Jewish Talmud says about Jesus, for instance that he was the son of Mary and a Roman soldier. And that is the mild stuff. That is why it is difficult to obtain a copy of the Talmud from your public library.

Many extremists interpret scripture literally. Like the Jihadists, Christians and Jews can take a literal interpetation of sacred text to the extreme. Violent Jihadists focus on the less Jihad, which is against the infidel. The Greater Jihad is waged against the part of yourself that does not submit to the will of God. Evangelical Christians are waiting for Jesus to come back, but paradoxically tend to focus on the hellfire and brimstone of the Old Testament, rather than the Sermon on the Mount, or Saint Paul's proscription to "pray without ceasing." It keeps their followers afeared. Many Jews also wait for the messiah, because Jesus was not the violent, warlike messiah that is their ideal. Jesus fought a war of the heart and mind, much like the concept of the Greater Jihad. Even conservative Muslims give everyone the opportunity to convert to Islam. IOn the other hand it is difficult to become "part of the Tribe," if you were not born into it. Even Palestinians who marry an Israeli cannot enter Israel with their spouse! Can't muddy the gene pool can we! Much Orthodox Jewish ideology sounds eerily familiar to the Nazi racial purity laws.

Islamic extremism and extremism from any other religion are not comparable. Islamic extremism is more in line with Nazism and fascism.

But the difference is most Israelis are not religious; they are secular.

So do you think Mary was impregnated by the Holy Spirit? This is the same thing as magic.

What about the settlers, are they too considered secular? And who lets them build their settlements, the secular government?

For one, I am tired of everyone assuming that to be an American you must be Christian. This is a private school. Therefore religious teaching, no matter how extreme are protected by law. They are no training kids with machine guns on the playground.

I wonder...has anyone read the Bible lately? There are many passages in the Bible that are disturbing, and violent. Please be careful to view things without propaganda goggles on your eyes.
