Yes something with this story just does not add up, sounds like a rich Doctor was up to something, to me anyway.

It's kind of a shame that those college girls get investigations and no one seems to give a damn about her. I also heard she was alcoholic. I have family in McKenzie.

Tina wasn't an alcoholic. I knew her for a long time and worked with her as a storyteller. She was amazing. This is a very sad end to a very talented life. I haven't seen her for a few years, but when I saw her last, she and her husband weren't having any trouble. This whole thing smells like foul-play was involved. She apparently was out there, in her car, in the warm TN November weather, for nearly 3 weeks. I hate to think how her son come upon that car and the sight inside - you know he was hoping to find his mother alive and well... Very sad indeed.

I used to have winkler as my doctor and logan as my attorney (I lived in Henry County). I can't imagine Winkler doing anything to her, but Logan... he is certainly corupt. He never did a thing with my case as I requested to back out and he kept $3500 of mine and never did a thing.

I think its sad what has happened in any case and I hope they are able to get to the bottom of this.

Also, I wonder if her car was planted there. It makes no sense that he was looking for her and she was on their property the entire time. He either had to know or it was planted. Missing since November, that is a very long time to not find her on your own property...

The Winklers live in the country on lots of acres - mostly wooded. It's possible for her car to have gone unseen there. Why was she parked out there? There was no road. You don't go 4-wheeling in a PT Crusier. It's been over a year since she was discovered and there's no new evidence and no known cause of death. Whomever killed her has gotten away with it. I don't know Volker (Dr. husband) very well, but I wouldn't rule him out as a suspect until there's more proof it wasn't him. This is a tragedy.

I saw Tina only once after I left Kodaikanal School in India (69-70). I stayed as a guest in her rural McKenzie area home for a week in the summer of 1974. She had 6 beautiful children & a loving, gentle husband whom she adored & who seemed to adore her, as well. Tina was always an exceptionally unique, very special person. I just learned of her death of November 07, sixteen months after it happened by pure chance from the Internet. I have been searching the Internet for the cause of her death & haven't found anything. It's so hard to believe that this wonderful person is no longer among us. She was so very special.

Nothing new has been discovered in over a year. Chances are whoever murdered Tina has gotten away with it. They won't be caught unless they give themselves up or reveal it to someone else.
It's very sad and extremely upsetting.

Is anyone still looking into this case. It was so long ago. I continue to think of her and her children that were left without a mother. It is a true tragedy.

Strange I came across this, a friend and I were discussing this just last night. Did this happen in Nov. and they found her when? How long had she been missing? And why didn't anyone know she was gone, like the community to help in the aid of finding her? I was also told that she was cremated and her ashes taken to India or somewhere like that. Smart the body can not be exsumed(m.s.) Is he or was dr.wink the medical examiner for carroll county. Good friend of several years larry logan was the judge.

It appears that all physical evidence has been dispursed with. The Tennessee FBI was given the case, but they are too busy with current cases. This is a dead end that will never get any notice. Poor Tina did not die from natural causes and no one seems to be interested enough to get it back out in the forefront and keep it there until there is resolution. It cannot be an accident. If it had been my wife I would still want answers. The good doctor is wealthy enough to fund an investigation... why isn't he?
Her 6 kids will never get closure and comfort...

We should be very careful what we say. someone said her body was in perfect condition as though it had been preserved. I have to ask you, were you there when she was found? Did you see the scene? Unless you work for the TBI, or you are a very close personal friend; I dare say you have only gossip to report and not facts.I have heard several accounts and theres no way they can all be accurate. Theres nothing wrong with wondering, but please don't report things as facts unless you are sure. You can't be sure just because someone you trust told you. I'm sorry if this comes across as harsh, but this family has been devastated, and they are still grieving.I happen to know this family, and as someone previously stated, they appeared to be a very happy family. She was an awesome storyteller, and a most unique individual. Her doctor husband seemed very much in love with her, and I have never seen a more gentle person than him. I don't know for a fact either but I do not believe he would be capable of murder.
