How about going back basics like buying new books and learning materials for the students and maybe a pencil or two. Quit wasting money on unnecessary things like a stupid bell in front of Founders Hall!

While the side walks needed fixed, the stairwell was not needed (unless tedesco built it), how much did the district pay for the bell, the bell from the looks of it only cost the price of a coat of paint and adds character to the front of founders hall. How can you possibly think that a stupid bell (your words, not mine) is worse than over-paying a project manager by 700,000 unless you are a family member of someone on the take. Have a nice holiday on us,the taxpayers.

I don't know how much the bell cost and maybe it does add character to the front of founders hall I was just using it as an example of things that are found to be more important than updated books and materials. I was just responding to the question "What could the district do with $700,00" No I am not related to anyone involved with the City or school district...I am just one of the unfortunate tax paying residents of this joke of a city.

Alot more than over pay (by $700,000) for a decent project manager.

The gift of over $700,000 to Tede$co instead of hiring Smith is equal to one mill of school property tax. PPM sends their gratitude to all MASD taxpayers. The $lick $ix sneaked this past you with your eyes wide shut. Just wait until we start invoicing at $253.92 per hour.

On behalf of PPM, I thank each and every taxpayer for your contribution to $teve’s Gobel Prize award for being a "good neighbor."

See Mr. Smith, if you were a "good neighbor" you too would win a $700,000 Gobel Prize. Just like a recent Nobel Prize, you do not have to accomplish anything to win – just work on six votes.

A $450,000 Gobel Prize was first awarded to Mon Valley Construction Management in 1996.

As a SB Member and Chair of the B & G committee Mr. Tede$co was the disaster of ceremonies. The runner up was Cunzolo with a substantially lower bid. But I guess Cunzolo failed $teve’s “good neighbor” criterion.

What is a Gobel Prize?-- did you intend to type Noble Prize? You lost me on this one.
