First, it won’t be an airport it will just be a runway and maybe a storage building to replace their present runway. Presently supplies are flown in on small single engine airplanes, gas, food, toilet paper and other things we just driver to Wal Mart for. When the river is high enough supplies can be brought up river by boat. even though the mouth of the river is about 20 miles away the river is actually about 70 miles long. Second, where are you going to find the construction equipment and operators. Logistics are a nightmare in the Alaskan Bush. That's the big reason it is expensive Third, whets the big deal? Its only 21 million. We just paid the bankers and wall street financiers 100s of billions as a reward for their mismanagement.
