The bouncer was not jumped and yes the boy was stabbed to death with a 6 inch butterfly knife in the corotid. Died within one minute

If your stabbed once, and you die from it, then you're stabbed to death. The so-called bouncer is a coward and used a knife when he started losing a fair fight. From witness a the scene the manner in which he used the knife infers he knew how to use a knife (i.e. military training). Again he is a coward and should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, not just let go just cause who his daddy is.

if a bouncer has to carry a knife mabby your sorry a** dont need to be in that profession besides those bouncers up there are sorry peices of shi* anyway that could not beat there way out of a wet paper bag. the wrong person got the end of this deal.

I wonder which security guy it was!!?.. because they walk around with a big head trying to start fights, one in particular has tried to fight a family member of mine and was completely unprofessinal and really really tried to make it more than it was!... I know that some of that comes with the profession but damn its rediculous henry county pretty much cant have a decent bar! And if Ryan was stabbed in that particular place, it was purposely done! The person that MURDERED him needs to be charged with murder!... I do not know all the details but I know that someones life did not need to be taken over something so stupid!....

I am just curious as to which bouncer it was!! I was told that he worked at Delta primarily! Just sad that someone could do that to another person, I don't care what the reason was.... if they were fighting, you can heal from fight wounds but to bring a knife into it and stab someone that is nothing but cold blooded murder!!!!!

The bouncers name is Chaz, apparently. A "biker" guy in is late 30's early 40's wearing black leather chaps and a red bandanna Saturday night. This "grown" man was being shown up by a 22 year old and had to show out like a "grown" man and take a young mans life. From doing a search on myspace there is a "Chaz" from Jonesboro, GA age 44. Search for him...I'm sure his status is sure to raise some eyebrows.

What was the bouncers name? Does anyone know?

I understand it was a 3 against 1 situation, so the fight doesn't sound to fair to me. If I am ever facing 3 guys that want to kick my ass, I'd want to have a knife as well.

An ass beating still does not constitute stabbing a person and killing them!!!

You are such a dumbass there was like four bouncers on one of them... So maybe you should get your story strait, he was a close friend of mine... there was three guys on the victim not the murderer..

I knew Ryan and this is a tragedy that shouldve never been. There is nothing anybody can do to go back and change it but they can prosecute to the fullest. Whether or not the guy was working or not hasnt be confirmed but he was at a bar with a weapon. If he was working then his job is to maintain the security inside the bar and the police handle it outside. With that being said either way he would be in the wrong. I know people who were there and saw the whole incident,everybody knows there are three sides to every story, one side, the other side, and the truth. I really believe that what I was told was the truth an Ryan was murdered. My thoughts and prayers go out to Ryans family and friends. Ryan you will be missed.

It is tragic and unfortunate for this to happen to anyone and I give my prayers and thoughts to the Victims Family.
But the guy that did this is not a bouncer at the Pub and does not work there. I personally know the bouncers at this Bar. They might get a little rough at times but none of them have the heart to stab a guy out of cold blood. The Irish Pub had no involvement of this horrible tragic incident. Other then it was on the property. Some of the statement's you guys have left bother me. This can happen anywhere at anytime.
It was a hot headed customer that did this. I do not know Ryan but I have had encounters with the monster that did this. He has issues already.

I want to see the coward's face that took the life of such a sweet, kind, fun human being. I hope he fries! And for all of you that are making excuses for him...you obviously did not know Ryan or you would know that he didn't have a violent bone in his body. You are no better than the scum you are defending.
