Review: Bay 218 Bar & Grill

Amazing place to eat. i'm impress.

Decent food but the service is slow and the bartender is inept. Perhaps with more experience this place will make a name for itself.

Nice atmosphere! Food was good. Price moderate. I only stopped in to place a quick take-out order...stayed for a drink @ the bar. Heard they have live music...gotta catch it. Beats a drive to the city for a night out.

my family will NEVER go back.. service was very slow, flounder was bad, and to top it all off crab legs were burnt, it takes a special kind of person to burn some crab legs!!!! it took us 30 min just to get the bill and they had charged us for a beer we didn't have and when we told them about that they had a bad attitude about it... i guess cause we told them they could have the burnt crab legs back

owner does not pay his employees...has been taken to the labor board recently to force him to pay. Bad business buddy!

If you are thinking about applying to work for this man, think again...if you like to paid for your services, that is. Be careful! Scam artist alert....watchout McDonough!

It's very sad that you got fired. But to talk about a place that treated with respected is messed up. It goes to show how people can be when the table turn on them.

I just went to this restaurant with a group of friends on a Saturday evening and to say it was a bad experience is an understatment. Their menu apparently needs to be revised because they had nothing from the menu available. My friends and I had to change our orders 3 times because they had run out of everything. The manager on duty was rude, condescending, and very unprofessional. When I finally was able to order something that was actually on the premises, I had to send it back because there was a cherry stem from someone's drink on my plate. Then to add insult to injury, that was the last of that item! I finally ordered something else and when that came out it was very salty and not appetizing at all. I have informed just about everyone I know that this is NOT a restaurant you would want to go to. As I see from the previous posts, I'm not the only one who thinks the owners of this establishment may want to rethink the line of business they have chosen.

We always try to support black business! But some of them just need to close and I think BAY 218 is one of them. I don't understand the problem, I am a regular customer. I have experienced everything other people have seen, but the making out in the bathroom. Me and my 11 year old daughter saw a lot of flirting going on with the employee's. The service is not good at all. I was told this is a franchise, I don't believe that. They should have stepped in long time ago.

bay 218, has the best food inn town it's great crab legs , chicken fish is awesomek also the owner is fine an amazing swag

maybe you should go back to school and retake english because you have poor english skills. this is not a "hating" matter. these people are posting their opinions. get over yourself.

the TRUTH is : they do NOT pay their employees. and when they do, they cheat them out.

the manager, "o" IS very RUDE! and DOES treat some people like they are idiots. This is not good customer service!

the restrauant itself is pathetic.

I seen the manger " O " and I spoke to him several times. He's very respectful to people and workers. I don't understand why people try to bash a business not knowing what's going on. It seem to me those people need a life and find something else do with their spare time. GET A LIFE......

I've been here since day one. I never had a problem with my pay or the way they treat us here. The Owner even help me out with my bill, by giving me extra money. I Love It Here. People have to understand there are two side to a story. It's a shame, It seem like a pissed off employee that got fired.

Always going to be people that are going to be upset and complain. The story of life.

Why would you want to see a up and coming business close regardless to whom it is owned by? If you were a regular customer as you've stated, then it is obvious that the establishment was doing something right. Telling the staff person that you want to wait to see how long a person takes to bring you change rather than have them expedite things seems extremely petty! Let's support all businesses in this tough economy. These people have a right to make a honest living and do not need people like you trying to hurt business! You should be concerned about your own behavior! Hats Off to Bay 218, you've accomplished a lot in a short amount of time in the McDonough area! Love your food!

We decided to try the bay 218, it was new and looked very good from their menu online. When we got there it was not crowded, We proceeded to order. There were six in our party. One man had the fried shrimp dinner, the shrimp were raw on the inside, another person at our table had the shrimp sandwich, the tails were on the shrimp and they raw also. I myself ordered the grilled flounder, the pieces were so small i am not sure i had any fish, very spicy and had a sour taste to them. We decided to drink the shots of tequila were only 1/4 of a regular shot and were not of the best quality.....ughhhhhhhhh!!! Bay 218 will not get anymore of our business or any of our friends,hope ya'll do better or you won't be there for very long. ps david munn must of never had seafood in his whole life!!!!

Decided to go here on Friday night because the ad in the paper made it sound appetizing. Not busy at all with the exception of a few people getting wasted at the bar. Waitress was extremely rude and unhelpful, could care less that we were there. Did not know what beers were available, no silverware given until AFTER the meals were brought out, and I had to ask twice about my side item that was supposed to come with the meal. My girlfriend never received a knife and her side item came 10 minutes after the entree was served. It seemed odd that they could not get everything out at once considering how slow the place seemed for business. While we were there one of the men at the bar fell out of his chair, was escorted out, and then tried to drive home. The police arrived shortly thereafter. Needless to say, we are NEVER going back to this place.
