I'll bet his (Legion69) shrink is in that hospital in San Antonio. You know, that muslim who murdered those brave soldiers & civilians.

If I had "Legion69" for a patient I might "go postal" too!!!

10 Reasons Beer is better than religion:

10. No one will kill you for not drinking beer.
9. Beer doesn't tell you how to have sex.
8. Beer has never caused a major war.
7. They don't force beer on minors who can't think for themselves.
6. When you have beer, you don't knock on people's doors trying to give it away.
5. Nobody's ever been burned at the stake, hanged, or tortured to death over his brand of beer.
4. You don't have to wait 2,000+ years for a second beer.
3. There are laws saying that beer labels can't lie to you.
2. You can prove you have a beer.
1. If you have devoted your life to beer, there are groups to help you stop.

Quotes from the founding fathers everyone should know

The majority of the founding fathers were deists, as indicated when they wrote All men are endowed with inalienable rights by their Creator, others were atheists. I have reason to believe that most of them had a very low opinion of Christianity, as I shall show, and ALL of them, atheist, deist, theist or otherwise, were secularists.

The Christian God is a being of terrific character- cruel, vindictive, capricious and unjust

-Thomas Jefferson

To talk of immaterial existences is to talk of nothings. To say that the human soul, angels, god, are immaterial, is to say there are nothing, or that there is no soul, no angels, no god. I cannot reason otherwise...I am satisfied, sufficiently occupied with the things which are, without tormenting or troubling myself about those which may indeed be, but of which we have no evidence

-Thomas Jefferson

Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone upon man

-Thomas Jefferson

During fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What has been it its fruits? More or less, in all places, pride and indolences in the clergy, ignorance and servility in the laity in both, superstition, bigotry and persecution

-James Madison

Lighthouses are more useful than churches

-Benjamin Franklin

This would be the best of all possible worlds if there were no religion in it

-John Adams

As I understand the Christian religion, it was, and is, a revelation. But how it has happened that millions of fables, tales, legends have been blended with both Jewish and Christian revelation that have made them the most bloody religion that ever existed

-John Adams

I almost shudder at the thought of alluding to the most fatal example of the abuses of grief which the history of mankind has produced- the Cross. Consider what calamities that engine of grief has produced.

-John Adams

And everyone should know of the 1797 Treaty with Tripoli drafted by George Washington himself.

As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion, as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Musselmen; and as the said States never have entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mehomitian nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of harmony between the two countries.

And of course:

Shake off all fears of servile prejudices, under which weak mines are servilely crouched. Fix reason firmly in her seat, and call on her tribunal for every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear.

Anyone can find lonely, obscure quotes from the past and take them fully out of context, as "DoseOfReality" (not their REAL "name")has done.

All my quotes had references to the source(s) for verification, they ("dor") provide only their speculation & reveal their own mental limitations.

They apparently missed their own dosage.

Now, look at the plurality of comments, & not just from the 3-4 "usual suspects" - who are OFTEN misquoted.

Learn something today, other than the extent of your ignorance.

For every 1 "quote" (usually totally OUT of context" you "find" I'll find 2 & provide context & reference.

The game is afoot!

BTW: I have to WORK today, so if you don't get a timely response, never fear - I haven't ignored you - but am just BUSY.

Now go read some High School history books ... printed BEFORE 1992 (Pre-Clinton Dept. of Education). Clue - that history doesn't change, the only thing that changes is the authors SLANT!

The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.

"Richard Dawkins" (the REAL one) is a sad excuse for a "scientist" who thinks Darwin is God.

Darwin doubted his own theory; NOT in a manner in which a normal person would (Gee, did I dot my i's & cross my t's?) but in a manner that cast doubt that it was PALUSIBLE.

See: Cambrian Explosion discussion within his own work & by external sources if you doubt the "hated fact".

"Cambrian Explosion Disproves Evolution
Introduction:

One of the most remarkable pieces of evidence disproving evolution is the “Cambrian Explosion”.

Most textbooks never mention it, and the ones that do relegate it to a short phrase or paragraph as if it is some insignificant detail.

This phenomenon is so pronounced in the fossil record that Scientific American called it “life’s big bang.”

It is considered one of the biggest challenges to evolutionary theory. Many reputable and highly accomplished scientists at major accredited universities worldwide say it is an INSURMOUNTABLE challenge. Moreover, MANY believe it is proof that evolution is merely a widely held myth of popular culture.

Cambrian Explosion

“Cambrian explosion” refers to the great quantity and diversity of life found in what is called the Cambrian layer of the geologic column.

The Cambrian age in the geologic time scale is dated by scientists as being about 530 million years old.

What is really interesting is not just what is found in this layer, but what is found in the layers above it, and what is not found in layers under it.

The Cambrian layer has virtually every phyla known to man. Yes, all major body plans and enormous varieties of each all coexist in this layer. NO EVOLUTIONARY SEQUENCE HERE, THEY ARE ALL COEXISTENT SIMULTANEOUSLY. "

DARWIN KNEW:

Darwin and his contemporaries were aware of this problem with the fossil record some 150 years ago, but they believed that the fossil record had been insufficiently sampled up to that time.

Their “belief” was that paleontological research in the future would more adequately sample the fossil record and show it to be more in line with evolutionary theory.

They were wrong! Exactly the opposite happened.

After a century and half of excavating fossils from the strata we have found the problem to be worse, not better. Contrary to the tree of life depicted in the school books, the fossil record depicts exactly the opposite story.

The tree of life is an inverted cone, and not a tree at all.

Belief In Spite of Evidence

You must be saying to yourself at this point,“How could that be? How could they speak about this theory with such surety with such strong evidence to the contrary?”

The answer is simple. They believe the theory in spite of the evidence. That is why many leading creation scientists keep referring to evolution as a philosophy of science or even a religion.

This belief is so strong in academic circles that scientists are chided if they even question evolution publicly. Why are they ridiculed?

They are ridiculed because the only alternative to evolution is creation. Some like to pretend there are a variety of options in explaining origins. This is simply not so. The options often presented are merely shades of the two primary options, and scientists know this."

1) You are committing a fraud & trademark infringement against a moron (with your wanna-be minoker/name)- congrats fool!

2) Guess you never read this:

Joshua 20 (New International Version)

Joshua 20
Cities of Refuge
1) Then the LORD said to Joshua: 2) "Tell the Israelites to designate the cities of refuge, as I instructed you through Moses, 3) so that anyone who kills a person accidentally and unintentionally may flee there and find protection from the avenger of blood.

4) "When he flees to one of these cities, he is to stand in the entrance of the city gate and state his case before the elders of that city. Then they are to admit him into their city and give him a place to live with them. 5) If the avenger of blood pursues him, they must not surrender the one accused, because he killed his neighbor unintentionally and without malice aforethought. 6) He is to stay in that city until he has stood trial before the assembly and until the death of the high priest who is serving at that time. Then he may go back to his own home in the town from which he fled."

7) So they set apart Kedesh in Galilee in the hill country of Naphtali, Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim, and Kiriath Arba (that is, Hebron) in the hill country of Judah. 8) On the east side of the Jordan of Jericho [a] they designated Bezer in the desert on the plateau in the tribe of Reuben, Ramoth in Gilead in the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan in the tribe of Manasseh. 9) Any of the Israelites or any alien living among them who killed someone accidentally could flee to these designated cities and not be killed by the avenger of blood prior to standing trial before the assembly.

And now we have the sound of one hand clapping (Oderus Rectum = RLF = CZAR...)

From: Peter Roberts, "Thomas Jefferson" page in "God and Country" section of "Science Resources on the Net" website (http://www.geocities.com/peterroberts.geo/Rel... ; viewed 23 November 2005):
Religious Affiliation: None
Summary of Religious Views:
Jefferson considered himself a deist; he also considered himself a follower of Jesus. This is not a contradiction, in Jefferson's view, because he believed Jesus to be merely human, not divine, and believed the precepts Jesus taught to be deistical. Much of traditional Christianity, Jefferson claimed, was error and corruption added by later followers of Jesus.

This is also stated at http://www.adherents.com/people/pj/Thomas_Jef... which is a website you like to use as a source most of time.

How's it feel to be spanked by your own sources.. life is so unfair for you little boy. Now go to your safe zone....

Let me get this straight. You're saying the lack of a complete and total fossil record from millions of years ago proves creationism?

Weak argument, you're basing "proof" of creationism on a lack of complete evidence proving evolution. Is that really how backwards you think?

You must have rode the short bus to school wearing a helmet.
