At least it's not Jennie Devoe. She seems to show up at almost every local event (and on way too many commercials). Carl Storie has had more success and actually had a national hit.

Shameless plug--Peace Train and the Flower Power Brass will be appearing Tuesday June 12. This is a very nice community event, kudos to the town of Fishers for putting this together.

And to btothep, jeez, lighten up and enjoy the summer!

He puts on a good show, and he includes a few Delbert McClinton songs in his mix, which he does almost as well as Delbert!

Look through the Living or the Entertainment section of the newspaper and very little of it is "newsworthy." Besides, this story was in the Fishers section, and it was about the concert series, not Storie per se.

Nice guy does not equal good music. I bet you like Jimmy Buffett too.

My gosh, btothep, this story is about a local town concert series on the lawn where families sit on their blankets with coolers and picnic baskets and enjoy live local music at dusk.

What exactly does "btothep" mean? Surely the "b" must stand for bitter...

Someboy help me. What was the name of the band he used to sing with in the 70's? Was it The Faith Band?

What I wouldn't give for the Patio Lounge on a hot summer night and Roadmaster on the stage. Oh what a night!

Daily Horoscope for November 29

Aquarius

Time to retreat to home sweet home as the hearth-loving Moon moves into Taurus and your fourth house of home and family. Even if the people under your roof drive you crazy sometimes, make an effort to count your blessings. With Mars in your sign, you should have all the energy you need to get out there and conquer the world, after you take some personal time.
