Wow! So some North Dakotans, including Gov. Hoeven, want to go backwards instead of moving progressively forward. Un-freaking believable! We need to get that federal horse slaughter ban passed once and for all. If people can't afford proper care, including proper humane 'disposal' of their horses they obvously shouldn't have them. Horse slaughter is cruel. There is no concern for the welfare of the horses, whatsoever.
It's a disgrace, not to mention the waste of at least $50,000 of taxpayers' money. Time to vote Hoeven out at the next election! |
