This trooper is the reason why white males should not be given positions of authority in today's society. We need more quotas in the law enforcement industry to promote minority officers and recruits. I don't know how else to say it, but white males have proven to be complete and utter failures as world leaders and at positions of law authority. There is no questioning the genuine reason for the higher incarceration and death penalty rate of African American and Latino victims: Racism! There is no possible way that blacks and Latinos are committing the number of crimes so many are being charged and arrested for. Racism is the only explanation for these highly skewed distributions of incarceration rates. Time for change in the racial demographics of police officers and local court judges! I hope more of these cases make it to the Supreme Court so that Sotomayor can level the playing field.

OH GOOD GRIEF WHAT THE HE** why is it that when a black man does something and gets caught it is racism but if a white man gets caught doing the same thing well he surely did wrong and slap him in jail. There are also LOTS of white men and women in our prison system. Its people like you is the reason that different races can't seem to get along.

Just another Rogue cop out there who thinks he is God. He made the news again right after this. He definately needs to be fired before he kills an someone.

What I think happened is that the Highway patrol has had to lower it's standards on recruits. At one time not just anyone could be a trooper now days they advertise on bilboards almost begging for anyone.

Sounds like old oppressed blackman is predudiced against white cops. Maybe he needs to go to work as a cop, unless of course he has a criminal record and can't, but at any rate then he might find out if his blanket statement about black arrests are correct. Opppressed blackman get out front and help your people instead of blogging about it. I swear, all white people from South of that imaginary line they call the Mason-Dixon are raised up with this inbred mentality. Why can't Texans be more liberal and progressive like the yankee whites north of the Dixon Line in states like Oklahoma and Missouri? It amazes me how the racism vanishes as soon as you cross that Red River into lilly white Oklahoma. Oklahoma and Kansas may be all-white Midwestern states with no diversity, but that means they are not used to black people and less racist as the more diverse states below the Dixon Line. And you always see white women in OK with black men and mixed babies more than you will ever see in Texas or back home in Louisiana. Oklahoma = black man's paradise for white yankee poontang!

Bootstrap is not from Tx. He's an Okie just like me. He's not racist, he's just against people with YOUR attitude about things. We are for the most part open-minded folks around here. I don't know where you et your facts at but we have plenty of black people in OK. No matter the town you visit, you will see black folks. I see just as many blacks as there are whites around here. Oklahoma is made up more of folks with Indian heritage, that includes those with mixed blood(white & black). Even if alot of them don't claim their Indian heritage for whatever reasons.
