Same!

Winters here are fantastic. It rarely gets below 50F in the daytime and (almost) never snows.

Sucks for the poor little kiddies who never get snow days here though ;)

I moved to South Dayton 45 years ago from Pittsburgh area and lived there 3 years. Really a nice little village and greatest neighbors ever had. They asked me if I was used to snow. I said, "of course, we get lots of snow" where I lived. Ha Ha. That place made me love warm weather. One night in 1966 I think I was last one to get back into town. Man had heart attack and had to be taken to hospital in snow blower. Time for me to get out of town.

That is why I am going out on my porch here in Daytona Beach and have a good cold ice tea. Temp. is nearly 80 degrees here, and I LOVE IT.

I actually hate really hot weather. I love it here because we have cool (not cold), wet winters and hot, dry summers. The lack of humidity means that to cool off, all you need to do is retreat out of the sun.

I actually miss the snow a little. It's really pretty when you don't have to walk in it or shovel :)

I remember once in college we had a heavy sleet storm and the bare branches of the trees on campus were completely coated in ice. It was so beautiful.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Virgo

The world is your oyster. There isn't anyone you're afraid to talk to or any situation you're afraid to place yourself in. The word 'extrovert' must have been coined just to describe you. You're the master of time at the moment, cutting through red tape and getting right to the heart of the matter. If you use the right words, you can make anyone see your point of view, even if they don't agree.
