I would never ever understand why Forest Ave would be getting re-paved next week with 2nd St still like driving on a corn field ??? Can t we get a BREAK here ( 1 at a time ) I mean come on people live / work down thru there & now you ll have delays down Forest Ave or make sure you drive your Tractor to work or home down 2nd St !!! Who planned both to be worked on at the same time sure had their head some where !!!!! STUPID on someone's part !

I'm in complete agreement. That is idiotic, and likely a result of decisions made by our elected officials. Second Street looks like crap, council; and for God's sake, please spray some water on the pavement. Cars kick that concrete dust up all over our vehicles. Not only are you guys not paying for damages or cleaning, but people have to inhale that when they're simply walking down the street.

Oh I'm sorry, By the title I thought this had to be about OBAMA....

Forest Ave is a State funded job. Second St is a City funded job. Second St project is is not finished. Be stupid to repave and have to dig it back up to fix something.

He maybe behind this but someone at city hall needs to get their head outta their A$$!!! Get 1 road done before ya start having another worked on !!!! Drive down 2nd & look at the dirt on houses & cars ... Feel sorry for ya & driving down there on that terrible road !!!!

Don't worry it won't interfere with you being able to check your check on the first of the month because the mailman walks to deliver the mail.

Somebody at City Hall has an A$$ whopping coming !!!!! By far the dumbest crap I've seen !!! Let both roads be under construction at the same time !!!!!!!!! People couldn't get on the bus cause the bus couldn't make the rounds cause of detours.!!!! I realize them ass holes don't live in east end but by gosh we can vote .... To have both roads worked on at the same time is the stupidest shit of all time .... People don't have helicopters !!!!! Get ur head out of ur city hall ass , forest ave could have waited u bunch of idiots till 2nd st was completed !!

Judging by your post I'm assuming you weren't on the debate team in high school, huh? Running off at the mouth doesn't get their attention, nor does name-calling or poor spelling. For what it's worth, the State of Kentucky is responsible for the paving of Forest Avenue, not the City of Maysville. By the way, why would anyone complain about having a major street repaved? You are probably one of the folks who would complain if the road was too rough and the state wouldn't do anything about it. You can't please some people, no matter what you do; you are proof of that. Just because you missed the bus (in more ways than one) you don't have a valid reason for your rants. You have my sympathy.

You must not live downtown. Regardless of what we did in high school, where we work, rather we walk, drive, or ride the bus to wherever the roads are ridiculous!
