But all these kids getting in trouble for non-violent crime, they're gettin' 5 years probation and maybe they'll serve 13 months or so?
I say two years at least Military service...it would help relieve our over burdened prison system and help our depleted military forces.
Plus Help make men out of these little twerps running around thinking they're tough!
What do ya think?
By kids I mean over 18.
I agree with you,Back in the day it was an alternative to jail for young men around 17-18yrs. old..

Romney was in France for 2 1/2 years doing missionary work. Upon his return in 1965 he registered for military service, but his number was never drawn.

Please tell me about Obama's military service.

Romney fled to France to avoid serving.
How can a chicken be President.
A devout American is one who protects and defends the Constitution. One who relies on their ability to defend and support their families and are not dependant on the government to do so except when in temporary need. One who is tolerant of others religious beliefs and political views.

I do love my "beans, taters, and maters" ...

I "do" enjoy a nice 1 3/4 inch (cut) Rib-eye marinated ...
then Grilled to 'perfection' any time I please too !!!
That my friend IS the "SPICE of Life" ...
I don't 'stick' to ONE brand constantly :)
I believe in variety!
Not just the same o, same o ... ;-)
Try iT....
ya just might "like" iT!
If that was true why than do you keep posting the same o, same o over and over and ....
A piece of 'good' beef that has been marinated has lost the properties that would allow it to be cooked to 'perfection'!

I can go along with that but do you include women's reproductive rights and a woman's right to her own body without Gov't interference?

Romney asked for and received 4 deferments would you say, many years later, "I longed to be in Vietnam"? He just has the propensity for reinventing his past positions and convictions (if he has any) to suit his current interests and needs. As for Obama, he was a baby during the military draft that makes your question entirely academic you are simply and stupidly trying to belittle Obama!

I would agree with that(Some what anyways..

Yes she should be free to do away with her plumbing any time she chooses and yes she should be allowed to bear as many children as she wants..

But I do not believe that she should be able to obort the pregnancy just because she and her boyfriend got in a fight and now she don't want the baby or she just changed her mind..

Hmmm? You have posed an interesting subject
worthy of discussion.
Devout in general circumstances usually directed toward ones level of religious loyalty.
However certainly one can be a devout husband.
A devout family man.
A devout American.
Even a devout follower of sport. TRUE?
If one considers himself/herself in each category would that person
take away from any or all devotions?
All so being a Democrat I've been called everything on this thread from
Ignorant to communist and more, but according to the definition you cited I'm a devout American in every word of the meaning!
Please elaborate if you feel in kind to?
Absolutely being sincere...ask anyone your choosing on this forum!
Thank you
tofy

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Capricorn

Don't take any risks when handling your finances today, because there are strange things going on. Someone may not be as straightforward and honest as usual, or can't explain themselves properly, which leads to misunderstandings and false assumptions. If you're spending money, make sure you're charged the right price and given the correct change. And don't let your wallet or purse out of your sight, in case you mislay it or someone nabs it.
