What a shame no Bessemer residents feel the dismal plight of Bessemer Animal Shelter's animals is important enough to speak out for them. Reports of starving animals and unsanitary condition, as well as blatant cruelty and neglect has been reported widely in the press and on Internet. Whats going on here? Please go and investigate for yourselves and speak out for the helpless dogs and cats who have done nothing wrong, except become homeless, sick and abandoned by other citizens in your community. Thank you - for the animals who depend on your voice.
