Are you people really that stupid to encourage people to NOT move here. This is a terrific place to live and raise a family. The rest of the world is not great either....if you two left this area for a minute it might do you both a world of good. Have you been to Chicago and seen the homeless people on the streets BEGGING for money, have you been to Detroit to see all the abandon buildings and crime, and people loosing their homes twice as fast as us!! If you really hate it here I suggest you leave! Don't trash this area because we all know that you are doing NOTHING to make it a better place.

There is no good paying JOBS here. And the cost of living is high. There is PART TIME JOBS. Hey, do not take my word ask some of them that is trying to make it. As for the video on here they showed the country living not the city living. I been here 63 years.

Hey if you would look close you will see homeless ppl. But No you will not see that.

You just drive up and down the main drag in Mayfield. Look close around the railroad track. You see homeless. I seen it.

fullers you must be the payroll of the city. I want ppl to have their EYES OPEN if they are thinking about coming here. The court square is gone in the north and east. When will the west and south go? Do you know?? Why is the crime up here? Do you know? Folks they have a BANK on the north side, some of us is doing OK. But what about the others? Do you know FULLERS?

Folks, the ones on here that will tell you different is the same ones that is doing OK. They run things around here the way they want it. I just tell the TRUTH. The TRUTH HURTS some around here.

hillbilly mayfield needs change thats for sure its a sad place when the main attraction is wal mart.
remember back in the day the lights up in town at xmas the windows in the stores? decorated-it was lovely. i was a lil kid i remember mayfield was good till about 1990 and then it went to hell in a handbasket.

hopefully someone can think of something to ressurect it fast.

By the way the Santa that was up on court house, the Chamber of Commerce paid him. What are they doing now? They let Walmart pay him. Santa works for walmart. You are right it is going to hell in a handbag.

you want it to get better,start by replacing those so called people who are in charge and say they have the 'better of our community' in their hearts. I say bulls%$#!!!! Lets start by replacing the mayor, the county judge exe., half the city councilman,that will be a good start.
