Mayfield Animal Shelter

Some don't even make it to the back room. Some are killed as soon as they come in the front door and taken straight to the freezer. I saw this on a facebook post.

OMG!! They take LIVE animals and put them in a freezer?! Why?!

Sorry, I read it wrong. They kill them before putting them in the freezer. Everything I'm hearing about that evil witch Donna, I wouldn't put it passed her, putting live animals in the freezer, for more of her torture.

i dnt put anything past the shelter u need to find out when there is going to be a public meeting or city council meeting and just show up. Those meeting are supposed to be for public sentiment. call the state ASPCA and one of the rescues that they use.or call Mr.Mark Spillman and get his take.

That would be a good idea showing up for one of their meetings. Have WPSD-TV there and us be able to ask questions. Who is Mark Spillman?

I might add... it would be GREAT if all the ones that witness something, would come forward and be at the meeting as well.

Mark Spillman has been quoted that he backs the shelter manager 100%.

The bookeeper/computer woman in the corner has not been there in over a week and the rescue board member (girl) also has not been there, WONDER what is going on with this??????

They are supposedly meeting this Friday I saw on facebook to talk with Donna. Like she is going to admit to doing anything wrong. What a joke.

I can't wait. I am hearing that they will be getting together on Friday night and having a blood ritual. Word is they are going to kill every animal in the shelter so they can start new!!!!

Well if it was on Facebook it HAS TO BE TRUE!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing will be done about the manager and the board members just like to raise money and very few even show up except for the meeting. They do not care.

When they go into private session it is never public. They do what they want. They need an audit of the books. I heard the book keeper may have quit.

I talked to someone just today that said the list they received was a compilation of he said she said stuff with little to no proof. She said there was some legit stuff there that they had to deal with. Apparently the wakkos have come out of the wood work and made much to do about nothing, and made real investigation hard because now it's hard to tell real from rumor. Also it appears that attorneys are now involved and slander/libel suits are pending. It is kind of interesting how certain people have clammed up since yesterday. It's really sad when people create so much false smoke that the real issues don't get addressed.
This is what I heard, but I'm sure I will be crucified here, since I'm not spewing hate and venom.

Why won't the Mayor or the Shelter Board listen to what people are saying? Doesn't it stand to reason that since so many are speaking against the Manager (Donna) not the entire staff of the Shelter, that they would at least stop and think about what is being said? The employees of the Shelter need their jobs, so they CAN'T say anything without the risk of losing their jobs..I understand this, but someone has to come forward with the proof of what is being said is the truth. If anyone can walk past all those sweet animals and not feel anything, they do not have a heart... Please..for the innocent animals that can't speak for themselves...HAVE A VOICE FOR THOSE THAT DON'T......

It's Slander, when what is being said is untrue
