a sweet man and a good doctor who should say no more often

As a practicing pharmacist in the area I can tell you this guy was just selling prescriptions. Ask any pharmacy in the BAton rouge area--we all know about this guy and many others like him out there doing the same thing. I hope the DEA closes all these doctors offices down who are just hurting people to make money.

Who cares what you think Mr. or Mrs. pharmacist. It's not up to you to judge about someone's pain tolerance. Just do your job and fill rx's and shoot uppppp!!!!

I'm thinking your Vietnamese and probably got a free education on tax payers expense, that seems to be all coming out of pharmacy school around here lately from Xavier. Just shut up and do your job filling rx's. They make pain medication for a reason and that's for people in pain dumb ass

Dr Donald was a doctor who helped alot of people.When I could not afford to go to my family doctor for a cold he would examine me and give me antibiotics to help me out. Dr. Donald was a great doctor with a big heart and helped alot of us who were suffering from chronic pain. He was always there to greet you with a smile and hug. I am extremely sad that someone as good as him could be so unfairly prosecuted.

He does have a wife and child, please be considerate on what you say. Keep your head up Dr. Auzine, people that know you support you.

Dr. Auzine helped me get off of persciption drugs two years ago. I think that he is a good man who obviously made some mistakes but he is not an evil doctor. During my days of addiction I spent a lot time with addicts and at bogus pain clinics and I never saw anything like that at New Image. Keep your head up Doc and thank you for saving my life.

The fact that the good doctor would prescribe you antibiotics for a cold really sums this case up quite nicely. Colds are viruses; antibiotics don't fight viruses, but bacteria. Doctors overprescribe them and the result has been multi-resistant strains of everything. Whether Dr. Auzine acted as the drug pusher we all perceive based on what we often see on TV is only known by him.

Doctors are given the highest level of trust by society, which is why a doctor can prescribe a drug for any purpose s/he sees fit. Drug pusher? Maybe not in the traditional sense. Abuse of privilege? Obviously, yes and he has admitted that much.

I, who have known Dr. Auzine all his life, can tell you that he is one of the most caring doctors I have ever known. One call was enough for him to return the call and help you decide if ER was necessary or not. A very intelligent and good human being he is. Who can throw the first rock? We all make mistakes, just play your life's movie before your ownself and you will know... what only God and you know! Keep your spirit up Doctor Auzine, you are very much loved by those who really know you.

I hope Black Doctors goes to Federal prison with these illegal aliens. They will kick him around like the addict he is.

I like don...he was a friend for a lot of people here in new orleans. I am a doctor as well. However, prescription pain medicine is a dangerous arena. He was employed in new orleans by other pain med clinics and they all got closed down. Perhaps he should have gotten the hint. Don sold out his Hippocratic oath.

first i would like to say that at age 15 i was hit by a car.at age 30 i was in a very bad car crash witch resulted in 2 bad disk in my neck 5 bad disk in my back & both of my knees were crushed.3 surgureys on my knees later i could walk again. i went to a bunch of pain clinics trying to find one with out a bunch of addicts. it took a long time but when i found donald i thought it was over.he lowered my dosage and told me exercises that would help. to me he was a god send. i will miss him & i wish him well. p.s for all yall looking to talk bad about people who use medicine the right way , i work ,i have two kids i pay my bills. not everybody who goes to pain mang. are druggies!!

Like Mr. LeBlanc, I have also endured numerous injuries and surgeries. After everything, I still have to take pain meds and meds to control nerve damage. The Feds bust their own friend. For some reason they do not seem like someone you can trust.

And by the way, I'm female and hot. I still had to supply MRI's and updated pharmacy reports. I wasn't allowed to break ANY rules, and he didn't hit on me. Dr. Auzine was always professional with me.

Dr. Donald P. Auzine, a Gonzales, Louisiana, doctor who operated a smoking-cessation and weight-loss clinic, pled guilty this month to one count of unlawfully dispensing controlled substances. In the plea agreement, Auzine admitted to unlawfully prescribing Adderall, oxycodone and hydrocodone. In some cases, he pre-signed prescriptions that were filled in by a clinic employee and given to patients.

Well we can tell you do not give a damn about the thousands of people these legal drug pushers get addicted to pain meds for the sake of money. Oh and by the way I do know about pain tolerance. You see I have an injury from my time serving in Iraq and I have chronic pain in my left leg, but guess what I deal with it without addicting pain meds. If you had a half a brain you would know the addiction cycle with these pain meds , Idiot!

I was caught with 1 joint of weed in my car.

I can not get a good job over it. Lost alot of friends over it. It has really hurt me in so many ways... I cant beleive this guy gets caught with that much weed and gets off so easy when 1 joint messed my life up forever. I guess its who U know and how much money U have to get away with this bull. I think he should be in big trouble. He had much more then I did.. But I will never ever touch that stuff again. I learned a lesson I just wonder if he has.
