It's sad that this article got no comments. Yet some stupid Kid goes and kills Himself on a Motorcycle and that Board just lights up. ANYHOW:

When you read about our Founding fathers it's really amazing how much they sacrificed to make America happen. They risked and lost everything. We're talking Empires and Fortunes. Not just a Life Savings Account. They knew that America HAD to be. Of course many of them got it back in Spades when the Revolutionary War was over. People nowadays don't bother to appreciate what really went in to building this Nation. There are too many Liberals now who just want the Government that was formed by the People and For the People to run their lives.(As in Communism)

That wasn't the original intention. Actually that was that farthest thing from their minds. Everyone an Individual and Everyone has the same Opportunity.

So the next time a Liberal comes along and tells you that it's not necessary to own a Firearm or that you MUST have an Alarm on your Swimming Pool, or it's the Government's responsibility to make sure that we have what we need to survive, Remind them to read the Bill of Rights which will outline our Individual Freedoms that so many have made the ultimate Sacrifice to preserve. You will be amazed at how forward thinking the framers of our Constitution were. I suggest that we don't dissapoint them.
hey now

The founding fathers' ideals were a lot closer to liberal concepts than conservative ones. you twist the Constitution to fit just like you twist the Bible

Greenporter, you could not be farther from the truth. The founding fathers would roll over in their graves if they came across modern left wing liberalism. And if they embraced it, we would still be speaking the kings English and bowing before the statue of the homelands monarchy. Continue living in your fabricated dreamworld while people like me fight to defend your freedom to be ignorant, because that's your bliss.

shall we agree to disagree? I totally support the troops BTW and live with a Marine plagued by PTSD. Most liberals I know would have fought like tigers for their freedom in the revolutionary war.

I think these stories about the signers are really interesting. I found another story about signer Button Gwinnett from Georgia. He died in a duel shortly after signing the Declaration of Independence. If you're interested in reading more about him, it's at this website www.revolutionary-war-and-beyond.com/button-g...
