You middle age people have no idea how good the athletes were in the 70's. Guys like Kevin Dougherty,Charlie Sharlow, Kevin Zappia, Jack Foy, Rolf Herbtsler, Bob Fiacco from MCHS. Mike Hayes from Holy Family hit the ball out of Alcoa Field and into the street on Sycamore (which would have been left field). Holy Family had its share of good athletes. Greg Sharlow, Mike Frederick, Tommy Henessey, and a lot of others if you go back far enough. A lot of good athletes in Massena 60's and 70's.
