Hey there

Last week on 2 separate days I noticed a police officer driving a cruiser while talking on a cell phone. I was just wondering if police use cell phones instead of police radios now. It seems dangerous not only for the obvious distraction while driving, but also the distraction from the job and watching out for crime.

Too funny....I wonder why poster #2 and #3 would automatically deny that....makes it pretty obvious they feel responsible.

LOL wrote: Too funny....I wonder why poster #2 and #3 would automatically deny that....makes it pretty obvious they feel responsible. Absolutley NOT! I have seen alot of topics on here about the pd. I just thought it was another BASH FEST! Im just telling you what I see! I highly doubt anyone at the pd really cares what people write about them on here. Like they would really respond to these stupid topics. More than half of this town doesn't like cops because they have been arrested. It really does make sense for ALL the hate! I'm actually laughing at all this...

You know, my post never even mentioned it was the town pd. I simply said it was a police officed who was patrolling. Yet you automatically assume it is town pd without even asking. Wow I wasn't bashing anything my uncle was a city cop his colleague was killed while on duty. I respect them I think they need our support that is why I showed concern about it. What exactly is your problem? Is everyone where this whacked?

That would mean you are talking about a village cop. If you were talking about a state trooper you would have said STATE TROOPER! Just sayin.....

I think many of us have seen cops driving and talking on cell phones. What are you gonna do? I guess if they have an accident, they will have to deal with the outcome.I lose a little respect when I see them doing it.My son asked me why they dont use a bluetooth.I don't know.I think it would be a much wiser thing to do and set a better example. Oh and loves animals, you have a chip on your shoulder.I bet you are married to one,in fact I think I know who you are.Why are you so angry?Being a stay at home Mom not all you thought it would be?

Not all police officers are troopers. Or village cops. Get it? Maybe I was in Malone. Or Vermont. Just relax Sir Judge-a-lot. Get outside and socialize.

LOL they probably don't use a bluetooth because they are not supposed to be chatting like a teenaged girl while on duty. A headset is too cumbersome and obvious. I work retail and even in a meaningless job like that cell phone use will get you fired pronto.

I see it all the time. While in fact to up hold the law they break it. All police town n state troopers break the law by speeding using their cell phones making illegal u turns and so on. Its unfortunate that we give them the power to protect and serve they misconstrue our generosity and feel above the law. I even see them running personal errands like getting mail from the post office or even grocery shop which i have seen both numerous times. Dont forget people we pay taxes which pays them they work for us we have the power to stop this but as a whole we cant to it with just one person. They cant arrest a whole town.

In the uk its illegal to own fire arms. In the uk there are no freedoms. We are free people in a free land controlled by corruption. We stand as one we cant win. If we stand as a whole there are no limits of the freedoms we can get back that were granted to us under the constitution of the united states.

LOL Wow you are thick lol When did I change the story?...I never said where I saw it...I was making the point that for all you know, I could have been Malone. Or Vermont. Those are for instances. But instead you freaked out and took the whole thing personal. Very telling. Nothing like denying something you haven't been accused of....even a police officer (for instance) would catch that.
