RAM returns from Haiti, helps people in Knoxville this weekend

Thank You RAM for caring! I didn't need the medical services but I am sure glad you decided to return home and give us in need equal care as well. RIGHT ON! I am proud that not only did you care about the needs of others but you also took care of home!

I know some people in Haiti may deserve what they get, BUT there are some innocent victims there. For example: children that have been deserted by their parents, etc. WHat about the elderly lady that was freed PRAISING GOD after 5 days !!
Did you know RAM was in New Orleans BEFORE the FEMA arrived? Have you ever heard of U.S. Public Health Corps? They were at the clinic OBSERVING how RAM operates, I was told they were using RAM as an example HOW TO DO OPERATE FREE MEDICAL DENTAL AND VISION CLINICS. That should tell you something about RAM, the federal government could learn something from RAM. If you think RAM operates MORE outside the USA - WRONG over 70% of the clinics are operated here in Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Virginia. IF you don't believe me look at their schedule on the web site - www.ramusa.org . AND BY THE WAY YOU CAN DONATE AND 100% of what you donate WILL GO TO WHAT YOU WANT IT TO GO FOR! Example:$50 to the dental program will go to dental. OF course, both of you a** could VOLUNTEER to help at the clnics.
When: There will be another clinic Feb 20-21 in Dandridge. You need to get there BEFORE 12 midnight to CAMP out in your car with water, light food, and cover. Tickets to get in to see dentist, doctor, or optician will start to be handed out around 3 am. The doors will open at 6 am. Dental services are extractions, fillings, and cleanings. There will be another clinic in Maryville next month March 20-21 at Hertiage high school.

Go ram!!!! does any one remeber what the red cross did with about a third of the funds raised for katrina? They kept it for future disasters and them it went to the upper echolon of rc for bonuses and vacations.

I do remember that. Some of the gift cards meant to help the victims went into volunteers hands to purchase tv, etc. for themselves. I only give to a few organizations - Baptist diaster relief, ram and my church.
Ram is taking donations NOW for Haiti, here's the projects they have going on for Haiti:
1) stretcher sponsor - normally cost $297 each, but RAM found a company that makes them and is selling them to RAM for $127 each - including shipping to RAM's headquarters
2) Haiti fuel - money to help purchase fuel for the DC3 - it costs $7500 ONE WAY in fuel for the plane
3) Haiti general - to purchase medical supplies and equipment that the general public cannot purchase - Xray equipment, antibodics, IV fluids, etc.

However I respect RAM volunteers for we know where all the donations go. I cannot say that about any other organization. Also you need to touch up on your spelling

So 40% goes to countries we already give Millions to anyways.

There is a book out called 'All the cowboys were indians.' It is the story how the RAM was actually started, wrote by Stan Brock. He MADE a promise to his adopted family and friends in Guyana, if he made good he would bring back some medical assistance to them. He would love to see this country get a government health care system to put RAM out of business in this country.

To PROVE to someone LIKE YOU: Here are the numbers from the Jacobs building clinic held Feb 6-7th: TOTAL COST OF SERVICE $243,030.00 TOTAL number of patients registered: 845. Teeth extracted: 891.I guess that number of teeth extracted WOULD GO UP since your mouth is full of SH**. IF that is NOT helping here in the USA WHAT THE HECK IS!!!

GUESS WHO WAS OBSERVING REMOTE AREA MEDICAL at work at the Jacobs building clinic: U.S. PUBLIC HEALTH CORPS. From what I was told, they are using Remote Area Medical as an EXAMPLE how to do free clinics !

The people RAM and IMA are helping in Haiti are INJURED CHILDREN, etc. WHO HAVE DONE NOTHING TO CAUSE THEIR ILL FORTUNE! And for your smart alick remark the 60% is from a few years ago! IT is now OVER that, I can assure you of that. Even from the first of February, they have added approximately 6 more clinics to the schedule. THEY ARE STRICTLY HELPING THE MEDICAL NEEDS!
