ROLF, read the whole article you moron. People who live in Fredonia think it's some sort of freak incident that so many college kids are at the bars drinking. Hate to break it to you, but EVERY SINGLE COLLEGE IN THE UNITED STATES HAS COLLEGE KIDS THAT DRINK! If you had attended Fredonia (I'm doubting you have a high school degree, much less one from a four year college) you would know that it IS a strong institution at a great price. I wish people would start being proud of having a college in their town that is consistently recognized at a national level. I'm proud to have gone there and to live in a town which has a great college right in its backyard.

They need a div. 3 Football team, there would be a lot more community support if there was, soccer just does not cut it with a majority of the surrounding community! If the College wants to grow in attendance, like rumor has it, Football would help attract more. Colleges with Football teams also get more endowments from alumni!

The hockey team is great. Those games are packed!

I'm betting I have a higher degree than you, HUH. To assume my college level is lower because I don't have a high opinion of Fredonia State demonstrates poor critical thinking skills on your behalf.

I know that the Hockey team is great, and it has a lot of community support, but the Fall season needs something, and soccer is not it, a College Football team, would be great for the area, and would have a lot of community support since this area has an abundance of football fans!

I doubted your level of education because your initial post was so asinine. Not that this is a pissing contest but I have a Master's degree, if you have a degree higher than that, good for you! But that means your probably too old to post lame things like "###chuckle###"

This just proves how stupid (assuming, ageist) educated people can be. Educated at Fredonia State, no doubt. Seems to support the OP.

well put. Soccer is for pussies. The observer covers the soccer program better than local high school sports. Majority of people could care less bout d3 soccer. Really, a football program would rock
It'll never happen though. Football is way expensive and the school is heavy in the arts.
