Missouri's Rogue Judge John Torrence

Bill O'Reilly is on his case now. I hope Bill continues to rip this A$$hole a new one. This is worse than the Tulsa, OK case where the guy got 1 year in jail for basically the same thing. What is wrong with Mid America? How much do these judges get paid OFF to lower the charges and prison time? I say investigate them like ACORN might be investigated. Just like the Fed needs to be audited.

You are all out of line. AS with any case their are always mitigating circumstances. None of which these cases have been publicly released. John Torrence is not only a good man but a fair judge. Indignant people like yourself who have ideas that you actually know the whole story and can comment on it makes you not only ignorant but incapable of making wise choices. I don't know these cases inside and out but I am sure that John Torrence did his homework unlike your readers.

Missourian, you call those who are appalled by JOHN TORRENCE's actions ignorant but you are supporting him without knowing the case inside and out, according to you. This makes you ignorant. The only thing we know for sure is JOHN TORRENCE let a confirmed child molester off the hook. This child molester will likely molest another child. That is a statistical fact! This makes you a supporter of child molesters, just like JOHN TORRENCE! The bottom line is that this judge and defenders of him, such as you, contribute to future child molestations. There is a high likelihood that a child out there right now will be molested by this maggot and that is on JOHN TORRENCE and his supporters which means you, Missourian. Hopefully it won't be your kid, but if it is maybe you'll start to understand what this crime is all about, because you are obviously ignorant.

Missourian, Do you think the little girl's mother didn't know what the case was all about? I think she has the right to judge if the sentence was reasonable. She was shocked over Judge Torrence's sentence. The mother has every right to be "indignant" and has every right to "comment" on the case. Are you going to claim you know better than the little girl's mother what the "circimstances" of the case were that led to this child sex offender getting off with no prision time? My heart goes out to that mother who was seeking justice for her little girl.

We part of another case with this judge and we received similar judgement! Father of a handicapped child was charged with ELEVEN coults of rape, sodomy and molestation and father was only given 120 days as well! I think this is just the tip of the iceburg with this judge!

Yes i do in fact have ALL the details of the case where Torrence granted probation to Curtis Mertensmyer for running down my son and leaving him to die while he sped away in a drunk stupor. In fact I gathered more evidence than the prosecuters. If in fact all of the ugly truths were known there is no doubt That not a single uninformed, thoughtless person would ever support this judge again. I plea that each of you write the Govner so torrence is not reappointed.

I am the mother of the victim in the child molesting case. Judge John Torrence is as big of a scumbag as the molester himself. This has affected so many lives and for anyone to support this judge, maybe you were in front of him at one time and you got let off the hook for some unspeakable crime. You can bet the second there is a chance to get this judge out of office, I will be right there in line for it. If you have not gone through anything like this, you cannot ever know the lifelong affects this has on not only the victim but the family as well.
