Cervena Barva Press Re-Releases Holly Grove Native's Book

August 17, 2009 Cervena Barva Press of W. Somerville, Massachusetts will re-release W.R. Mayo's book, "Pretty Little Lies, Ten Generations of Southern Hypocrisy" now in its second printing. The book was first released June 15 of this year and was sold out within six weeks. Mayo,a native of Holly Grove, Arkansas who wrote this history of Southern Monroe County recently appeared as a guest on The Bev Smith Show, and his recent interview with Richard Drake of CATV's "On The Air With Richard Drake" will air later in the month of August. My family "Fred Hill and Fannie Hill" are all from this very town. Will have to read book. I heard about if from my cousin Mary Nell Hill Bennett Roche. I live in California and have lived in area as a child. Visited many times. Hope it will be an interesting read.

Worked as UPS man in HG for 25 years and got to know some of the Mayo family. Received the book and enjoyed it although surprised. They always treated me great as all the folks in Holly Grove and Monroe county did.
