But Randy, I already know that they cannot accept you as a brother, but they never tell you that you need to be water baptized, they just love you to death. I am the only one here that has told you that you need to be water baptized. Why can't you legalist see that-talk about blindness!

I think there is a lie somewhere in the darkness that you guys are covering up.

You say you believe the facts of the cross but will not obey. Genuine believers will obey.

Bobby, you are the most double-minded person I have ever, ever talked to. In a post just the other day, YOU said that NO OBEDIENCE of ANY KIND will get a person to Heaven. NOW you're saying that a person SHOULD OBEY! Which is it?

Jas. 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Besides that, how can you be a "genuine believer" without first "obeying the Gospel"? Aren't you putting the cart before the horse?

Believing the gospel is obeying the gospel. Regenerated believers are re created in Christ for the purpose of good works.

Correct Formula: GRACE THROUGH FAITH = SALVATION + WORKS

Incorrect Formula: GRACE THROUGH FAITH + WORKS = SALVATION

Odd when Peter preached his first sermon they “believed” PRIOR to asking Peter what they needed to do yet at that point still in their sins. If BELIEVING the gospel IS OBEYING THE GOSPEL, Peter sure didn’t know it. Luke either for recording it. And the 3000 for OBEYING the command Peter gave them to receive remission of sins didn’t know either.

You musta looked in the mirror before you wrote this one. After all, since you don't know anything about us, the only person who you can truly write about is yourself, right?
Last time I checked all people are hypocrites at some level so the mirror is always double sided for all of us!

But that's ok, since Christianity is no longer a comparison of us to Christ but a contest between fellow hypocrites and thus the once glass house seems strong and able to withstand the rocks.

What about the REAL correct fomula?

Belief + Baptism = Salvation (according to Jesus, Peter, Paul, Philip, Luke)

Are you now rejecting the coc 5 step plan?

hear, believe, repent, confess, be baptized

For you guys faith should be in there twice. First believe that Jesus died and was raised to life. Second believe that one must have faith that water baptism saves ie contacts the blood...

According to you own doctrine I have obeyed the gospel, I actually went through those five steps just like the average coc'er. The only difference is I have changed my mind that the water is not my savior. And If I had it all to do over I would still be water baptized only I would be more focused on the cross than the water...

Can you still have salvation, if you obtained it Biblically, and then deny the very same plan that you think saved you the first time?

I say no. What say you?

I think for it to be documented in a "five-step plan" is ridiculous, but all those elements are involved, do you not agree?

And there should be a sixth: live faithfully.

Those who endure till the end will be saved, if I am baptized and cheat on my wife and die before repenting am I still saved? No so if the fire still can burn how is it that I am saved from the fire.

Jesus answer for the point of salvation is the perfect answer for salvation, the rest are steps of obedience. Live faithfully, be baptized, live by the Spirit of the Law. Give mercy, love others more then yourselves. Seek God with all your heart, mind and soul.
