perfection is coming... i have Bible studies with real people and cant spend all my time on fictious people who too ashamed of their doctrines and churches to even let us know if they exist

You have called this a false doctrine in the past and Shawn THREE times said it is true - he even defended both conservative Church of Christ preachers who had opposing views. So much for speaking alike...
You guys condemn others for the very thing you practice.

Neither Shawn nor Johnny are teaching that the Holy Spirit leads the Christian separate and apart from the word of God (the bible). That is where we take a stand. This is why they can agree on the subject. As long as we understand we are guided by the knowledge of truth (John 17:17)(1Tim. 2:4)(2Tim. 3:14-17).

You are blowing smoke (Lying) when you claim that coC members teach we must be perfect. The truth of the matter is that we teach what is found in (Acts 8:20-24) and (1John 1:6-9). These are two sections of scriptures which teach when a Christian errs he must repent.

I did not even go to (Gal. 6:1,2)(Mt.18:15-17)(Luke 17:3,4)(Rom.16:17-19)(2Thess.3 :6,14,15)(Phil.3:16-19)(James 5:19-20). Each of these scriptures prove there is a plan for the erring Christian to repent and get back right with God. This all proves the coC does not teach Christians must be perfect.

Maybe you should read the many lessons on the site below. Most of them are short and they will help you to know the truth about what the coC teach.

Friend, Paul was a jail-bird. Paul was a murderer. But Paul repented and decided to preach the truth which would save the souls of those who obeyed that truth (1 Peter 1:22)(1Tim.2:4).

You seem to be implying that a certain person has committed such a terrible sin that even though they may have repented they do not deserve help financially. My friend you are in the same boat that jail-bird homosexual you were speaking about.

You should be happy that this person has repented and is now following truth,yet you seem to be saying this person is not worth giving money which will help them or we should not forgive them because of the sin they committed.

If you attempting to replace grace with a new set of laws, then you will be judged by the new rules you create. Perfect obedience is required for you once you abandon grace, which you have. I take that back, it is possible you have never embraced grace in the first place.

Hmmmmmm did I miss this show? All I have seen are accusations and lies to others, postal employees, average citizens where you claim to ask them to come visit and then use a hidden camera to keep the momeny flow coming to the TV show, and deception/lies to pastors even when asked not to tape, still taping after saying you won't per James comments a few weeks ago, and finally Johnny himself every time he stands in front of the TV and claims he only wants to ask a question when in reality he is looking to defeat and destroy others.

Grace teaches man to do things and not to do other things.

12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (Titus 2:11,12)

To teach the grace of the bible you must teach law. That is what the verse above is teaching. You cannot teach people to do things and not do things without a law (Standard / rule).

16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.(Phil.3:16)

Notice one must obey truth. Truth is that standard /rule /law.

It is called a law of faith (Rom. 3:27)

It is called the perfect law of liberty (James 1:25)

It is called the law of Christ (Gal.6:1,2)

But it is a law my friend, no doubt about it. The only ones who contend we are not under a law are people who do not like what the Law says.

I am sad you feel that way. But that is the way it is when you back false doctrine. You will feel like you are being destroyed, torn down and destructed.

Johnny and many other faithful preachers understand what Jeremiah was told.

But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.(Jer.1:7-10)

The glad tidings come to those who are willing to allow the false doctrine torn down and then they are willing to help build upon truth alone no matter who is makes mad. That is a good and honest heart (Luke 8:15). Paul comes to mind (Acts 9:1-6)
