I can't believe that some people rent out houses and wont let the tenents work on them to make them liveable. My daughter rents a place from someone and it is in deplorable condition. The landlord was suppose to fix it up and let them work on some things but now have changed their minds and don't want them to work on it because it will make the taxes go up. I say if you can't afford the taxes then you shouldn't own it. They own another house that they live in and fixed it up but this place should be condemed.

I completely agree!
The house next door to me is totally nasty!!(but that is because the lady that lives there is nasty too!!!) The grass has only been mowed 1 time this year and the yard is always full of trash.
Everytime it storms, shingles blow off their roof into my yard. The steps to the top apartment are so wobbly, Im surprised they haven't fell off the house. But the landlords don't want them to fix anything!!! They are slum lords too!!!

Why would your daughter rent the place on a promise to fix things up??? Get it in writing, that way the landlord can be held accountable.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Scorpio

Be careful how you handle a certain someone today because their mood is little short of incendiary. They'll jump down your throat if you dare to disagree with them, and then accuse you of being a wimp if you decide that it would be better to agree with everything they say. You can't win! If they really get on your wick, you'll have to give them a piece of your mind, even if it is supposed to be the season of goodwill to all men. Huh!
