Whatever happen to protect our children. 57 children scared for life. Wished I'd had been on his jury. I would have voted to castrate.

I was on the jury and there was absolutely no evidence at all that he was guilty. It was a smear campaign against him by an estranged nephew. Just 1 child Bonnie not 57 read the paper. I am proud to say I voted not guilty.

Sorry Bonnie I read your response under the sex offender heading and it still makes no sense. He was found not guilty by all of us on the jury. He passed a polygraph test. It is a good thing you were not on the jury, you could not have given him the fair trial he deserved.

I know Fred also. His nephew should be brought up on charges for lying. When charges like that are brought in today's society, the person is always presumed guilty, even i thought it. This just proves that is not always the case. They jury made the right decision. I would be the first person to say hang him if there was evidence.

Has anything been done about the false acusations made by the nephew? I havn't read anything. I guess this would have to fall under a civil court wouldn't it? Slandering his name and such? hmmm....

I kow Fred. He used to go to the same school with my cousin. His father, Richard Pearrell, was the owner of a gas station by the toll road.

Anyone who has really suffered or been a victim should be outraged any time that someone makes false accusations. False accusations in many ways deny justice to real victims (by damaging credibility of such claims) and undermine what real victims have been through. On the other hand, it's a quick way to get revenge by permanently tarnishing someone's reputation. At any rate, experts agree that an abuser who abused someone that many times for such a long period of time would not be able to simply quit their behavior. They move on to other children. There have been no other claims in this case. It was an old family dispute that resulted in a cheap shot against a decent guy.

So he wouldnt have to go to trail because Pam Neely told him she would see that he got exactly what he deserved. Just for the record the reason he got off in Morgan Co was because he is one of those so called perfect citizens and to think they always thought the sister was the black sheep of the family

No you dont know Fred because his father's name was Amos and his uncle was Richard but He never worked at a gas station so maybe you should make sure you know who you are talking about before you open your mouth

I sat in the courtroom and there was literally no evidence against the man. Your truth must be based on local yocal gossip from people with nothing better to do. Keep living the ghetto life ~ it must not be easy.

Really you have no idea and live the ghetto life I live better than you probably do but you think what you want to think for real. I know the truth and so does Fred he is the one that has to answer some day for it and walks around every day living a lie. I won't be the one that answers for the lie on judgement day thats all I have to say he got off because he was a role model citizen and no one could ever think that of him. Guess what his own family couldn't believe it so you figure it out isnt that how they all are?

Learn to write in complete sentences please. Where was the evidence? There was none. End of story. If you had evidence, obviously you didn't present it at the time or there would have been some evidence.

I hope everyone understands what it means when someone makes a false accusation expecting a monetary settlement. The settlement doesn't happen, so the case goes to trial. There is no evidence because all charges are false. Prosecuting attorney in other county drops all abuse charges because there is no case. If he was guilty of any of that, no prosecuting attorney would drop all counts.
