Vallejo City Council Member Marty Brown demands waterfront murals removed

yesterday I received a phone call that Vallejo City Council Member Marty Brown demanded the removal of the waterfront murals due to unknown graffiti. Immediately after receiving a phone call from the owner of the property (Eric Rahaague) I got my paint materials together to fix the problem. But, not before the City of Vallejo's Anti-Graffiti programs Tony Pearsall called Eric Rahaague to tell him he sent volunteer Mr. Quigley to paint on my mural(recently seen on VIB). I own and painted the waterfront murals with my own money and time and was surprised the City of Vallejo was painting on my murals on private property. Mr. Rahaague was threatened with the removal of the permit less-temporary walls if he would not comply. Vallejo City Council Member Marti Brown went so far as to call Mrs. Rahaague Senior(94 years old woman) to pressure Mr. Rahaauge Junior to remove the murals or loose the walls! I removed the murals at his request. Mr. Rahaague gave me Vallejo City Council Member Marti Brown's cellphone number to ask her permission to restore my murals, I have not called her yet.

don't waste your time trying to make a splash at the next council meeting. just get an attorney that will sue the city and they will pay you off like everyone else when they are wrong.

Well Derrick, maybe you and sam should have given more thought to your first action which was to deface the mural with the recall Gomes and Brown. Your uncontrolled juvenile actions seem to always get you into triuble. If you two would have never painted recall on the wall, the mural would still be intact and there would be nothing to talk about. There are consequences to your bad behavior.

When the political signs reading RECALL GOMES AND BROWN start appearing around Vallejo it will be illigal to remove or deface them. Right along side the election signs. Who will Marti threaten to sue when that time comes?
