Anyone know about any ghost sightings in the hollow below Lovers Leap off Lovers Leap Rd. near Smithfield?

I have heard lots of stories of local lore, but none to "The Leap". I will say though that it has been recognized as "Lover's Leap" since colonial Days. Ever hear about the Fallen Timbers Ghost?

I will check it out when I move home in two months. The land below the leap is part of my partents farm.

I think I also read somerwhere that there was a lady that lived down there who was left alone by the local indians. It may have been the Ellis Book but I can not remember. All cool stuff if your into local ghost stories!

No. I am not a Jasek. Are you thinking of Mrs. Jessick that lived at the end of Blaney Hollow Road (before it had a name) at Larmen Mill Road?

I heard that two teenagers fled home because they couldn't be together and they jumped to their deaths over the leap. However, even though it is spooky at night, which just about everything is, I don't think its haunted

We talkin about the same place? The cliff I know was only about 75FT? this was above the bridge (Up the Road) crossing George's Creek on the opposite side of the creek from the old Sylvan Mills Complex (Also known as Larmann's or Hunter's Mills). BTW I also have heard the Indian tale about it. Wanted to also bump my earlier question whether or not anyone heard of the "Fallen Timbers Ghost" supposedly a man in colonial garb has been seen walking down the Fallen Timbers Road.

I live now in Shelton WA and am looking to go and hunt around for haunted or supposedly haunted locations around the area. I am not too familiar with where things are but I live off hwy 3. Give me some clues as to where to go? I've been known to sense things and am curious as I've been in NM down in Old Town and picked up somethings on my digital and sensed things to where others could take pictures also. Looking forward to hearing from you guys on this :)

Yes, I do live in Shelton out about 5 miles from town. We've had a few things around our house happening, something mimicking my children, rumors of an old graveyard with only two headstones left off of Johns Prarie Road has peaked my interestas well as the old buildings and first homes in Shelton back when John Shelton came into the area and interacted with the local Native Americans. Not to make anyone sound like quacks but I sense things at times and there is just something around this town and area.
Not familiar with Southwestern PA, unfortunately I have never been past Missouri where I have family.
Just wanna be able to go out and do some research of the area and "urban legends" :)

Getting your point across may be hurtful, but it will be appreciated. You need to make the changes necessary for your happiness. Expect disruptions at home, but try not to take things to heart. Shared finacial obligations are somewhat probelematic. Acceptance is the key. Do not be afraid to ask for help. You will be surprised at how willing others are to come to your side.
