I hate cheerleaders in general. It is nothing more than females who do not have any bit of self esteem and feel the need to exploit their bodies to boost popularity. I am so glad that I am out of high school and no longer have to deal with stupid kids, now its just stupid adults.

This is just not a very nice thing to say about anyone at all. My guess is that you were either not good enough to make cheerleader or maybe you couldn't get a cheerleader to go out with you in your past and are very hurt by all of this.

They seem to be pretty good! They certainly help the spirit at games. And they practice a lot.

I am Hate This Town. No I was too smart to make cheerleader and was too busy working on becoming something useful instead of becoming a statistic like most cheerleaders I have known.

I haven't seen your cheerleaders but if you can't make the team brcause your too "fugly" just come on over to Seymour! They don't care how ugly, fat, or out of step you are cause all the others are the same way.when I was in school cheerleaders were pretty as well as talented or they didn't make the squad. It seems that nothing is required except having the right last name!

When I was in school,(sports),cheerleaders were always the hot popular chicks that would get everyone's attention and boost the team spirit. They were also at every home and away game. That doesn't happen in Seymour. No disrespect to the Seymour cheerleaders, but the girls don't get to do anything. No away games, and on occasion, only the visitors cheerleaders at home games. It was even proposed at one time they were to wear skirts past their knees and long sleeves. They might as well wear sweat suits. I don't know who's in charge of them but myself as well as a lot of players parents think its time for a change. If its fun for the girls you'd see more trying out, not just a few standing in the corner that you can't even hear. I will say, good job though to the ones that only get to cheer at a few games.

Yeah, what's up with the girls not going to away games? Who makes the decisions? When I was in school they were admired because you had to be good to be one! We also had a bus for the pep club to go to away games. I know the school has more money noe than they did then. I think Ms Zend(sp) is the sponsor and Amanda Godfree is the coach. She wasn't a good cheerleader 15 years ago! They're also doing the same cheers from 15 years ago. When they have a new one it is just awkward! I'm not trying to be mean and it's not the girls fault. It's that no one cares. The cheerleaders, band, Girls teams or the jv boys get the recognition they deserve.
