I'm looking into going to school to be a physical therapy assistant and I was wondering if McDowell Tech offered the program. I cant find anything online about it. Also any other information you can offer would be great =) Thanks

South College in Asheville offers it....I believe Caldwell does also

I think King's College offers the class but I'm not sure. Its in Charlotte tho. You should google it because I'm not sure if they offer it but they do have medical related classes!

King's college only offers one medical course-Medical Assisting. but don't waste your time or money. that's where I went to school. back in 2004-2005 it was $31,000 for 14 months of school. and guess what, I have my Associate Degree in Medical Assisting and I've only been a medical assistant 7 months out of the past 7 years. all the rest, I've done phlebotomy. look into Mayland Community College. classes are better priced, cheaper than AB tech. and you can mix courses between and seated. I wish you the best of luck.

Iv looked it up online and a few different sites say its offered at McDowell tech but when I go to techs website it doesn't show anything about it.

It's a program offered by Caldwell Community College through McDowell tech. Go to Caldwell's website and it will offer alot more information for you. |

Forgot to mention that McDowell tech doesn't offer the classes on their campus you will have to go to Caldwell for it

Im starting towards my PTA in the fall. I've looked it all up. You can take most of your prerequisites at McDowell. Then you will need to transfer for the program. Caldwell & south college Asheville offer the program. Contact Amy Huffman at Caldwell for. List of courses

In order to become a physical therapy assistant and write NPTE exam for PTA, you must attend accredited physical therapy assistant school.
