Toms creek falls....creepy

lets hear them because i know i have heard several. place is creepy

We have been taking the family for years. Nothing too creepy from our point of view.

No not too creepy. It is a good easy trail for families. The water fall is very beautiful, I have hiked alot further for less. And there is remnants of an old water wheel foundation and mica mine if you know where to look. Only about a ten minute walk to the base. And please if you hike the upper trail be careful esp. W/ kids there are some drop offs

It is beautiful if the water flow is good but I have had two crazy trips. Once we got to the falls to find a group of boys camping with guns. Maybe not creepy but enough to make a couple girls uncomfortable. The other time my friend and I took our kids. Almost to the falls we come across a man who makes conversation. He wants to show us around. He says things contradicting himself. He tells us not to go down certain trails. Would have.been strange by itself but he also had huge knife he kept slicing at the brush with. we just tried to keep him talking and said we had to go, didn't want to upset him. He followed us all the way to the car. My guess would be he had drugs in there or was growing some.
